Chain Reactors Deluxe Base Game and Features

Chain Reactors Deluxe is a 5-reel slot with a Cluster Pays mechanic. Winning combinations are formed when 5 or more of the same symbols land across the grid either Horizontally or Vertically to each other.

The minimum bet available here is £.€0.10 per spin and the maximum bet available is £.€5 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.05% and a max win cap of 50,000x.

In terms of symbols, the highest-paying regular symbol here is the Silver Face, followed by the Heart Face. Low-paying symbols fall to the Green, Orange, and Red Faces.

Each time a winning cluster forms, all winning symbols will be removed from the grid, and new symbols will drop down from above via an Avalanche. This will continue until no more winning clusters are formed.

Light & Wonder has done a brilliant job of bringing the Chain Reactors series into the modern era, with crisp graphics and an up-to-date design, but it still feels a little outdated when compared to other new releases.

Chain Reactors Deluxe is a slot that focuses only on Jackpots rather than features and Free Spins rounds, which is better suited to players just starting out in the slots world or for those who prefer their chances of winning the max win in one go.

When compared to other Jackpot slots, Chain Reactors Deluxe is probably one of the more appealing options given that the wins are much bigger for the lower amounts of Goldie symbols that land.

Landing 5 Goldie symbols awards a very impressive 1,000x your bet, and 1 more will have you cashing in on 2,000x your bet. Sounds pretty straightforward forward right? Quite the opposite in fact. When testing, we found it very challenging to hit even the lowest amount of Goldie symbols, so how realistic is hitting the 50,000x?

Chain Reactors Deluxe may not have any fancy features or Free Spins rounds available, but it’s oddly compelling in the sense that you could walk away 50,000x better off.

All in all, Chain Reactors Deluxe isn’t Light & Wonder’s best work but it’s certainly the best in the Chain Reactors series so far.
