Relax Gaming partner, Fantasma Games are growing a new kind of flower, in a new ‘blooming’ marvelous sequel to the original, Flower Fortunes Supreme!
From the Provider who bought us Alice in Adventureland, Elemento and Heroes Hunt 2, Fantasma Games are taking us on a trip down memory lane with a sequel to a golden oldie, Flower Fortunes Megaways. On the outside, Flower Fortunes Supreme looks to be an exact replica of the original, but will Gameplay prove us wrong?
Spring is currently upon us, which only means two things…hayfever and Spring-themed slots, and Flower Fortunes Supreme certainly fits the bill, but will it be the best one out there? Let’s play on and find out!
Flower Fortunes Supreme is a 6 reel slot with a Ways to win mechanic. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbol types from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. If you happen to reach the top of the Flower Meter, you will unlock Both Ways, meaning that you will be able to win from the left and right-most reel.
The minimum bet available here is £/€0.20 per spin and the maximum bet avaialble is £/€200 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol in Flower Fortunes Supreme is the Yellow Square, followed by the Red, Pink and Green Squares. Low paying symbols fall to a selection of Darker Squares. The Purple square has the highest pay value, followed by Blue, Green, Grey and Brown squares. There is also a Wild symbol present, which can only appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5, and substitutes for all High and Low-paying symbols.
Like the previous Flower Fortunes title, Flower Fortunes Supreme has the same Flower Meter on the left side of the reel set, which can award up to 4 exciting Features. In order to progress up the Flower Meter, you will need to collect Orbs from the reels.
The Flower Meter will start at 0, and each time an Orb lands on the reels it will automatically contribute towards advancing to the next Level. If you happen to land a Leaf symbol on the reels, you will drop down one position on the Flower Meter. Each time you progress up the Flower Meter, expands the reel positions.
Once the Respin level is reached on the Flower Meter, a Respin symbol can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Once active, the Respin symbol will removes itself and up to 12 randon non-winning symbols from the reels. New symbols will then fall down via a Cascade, possibly creating even more winning combinations.
Once you reach Level 2 on the Flower Meter, the Expanding Wild can appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5. Landing 1 or more Expanding Wilds will activate this feature.
Once active, Wild symbols will expand to fill the entire reel they land on, along with a random Multiplier between x1 and x9. If 2 or more Expanding Wilds are part of the same winning combination, their Multipliers will combine together and applied to all wins.
If both the Respin and Expanding Wild features land at the same time, the Expanding Wild will be played out first.
Once you reach Level 3 on the Flower Meter, the Bonus symbol will make its appearance on the reels. Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 Bonus symbols in any position on the reels, triggers the Bonus round.
Once active, 5 Flowers will appear on the screen, and each Pick awards a Cash Prize between 0.25x and 100x your current bet.
Once the final Level is reached, you will unlock the Both Ways mechanic. This means that winning combinations can be formed from both the Left and Right-most reels.
If we’re completely honest here, we are really struggling to find what makes the sequel to Flower Fortunes so ‘Supreme’? Maybe we’re missing something, but it seems to us that this version is slightly worse for wear than the original. Is Surpreme another word for sequel in this case, because we’re pretty sure they’re is nothing Supreme about this one.
Flower Fortunes Supreme is not a terrible slot by any means, it plays exactly like the original, which many of us are very fond of, but it just feels like there is a key ingredient missing. Flower Fortunes Supreme is so similar to the original that it’s hard to understand why players would choose this carbon copy, when the statistics alone are heaps better in the first.
This is the part of the review where we would go into detail about Gamplay and the pros and cons to each feature and so on and so forth, but Flower Fortunes Supreme is pretty much identical to the first that you may aswell read the original review.
When we look at a sequel of another slot, we always have high hopes for bigger and better gameplay, statistics and maybe a few tweaks on the design, but other than a slight change to graphics and the odd colour change on the symbols, there is nothing really worth shouting about here.
