Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 Slot Review 2023
Step right up and try your luck on Play’n GO’s latest slot to the Joker series, Free Reelin’ Joker 1000!
Play’n GO has stripped the original Free Reelin’ Joker of all its fruity symbols and transformed it into a slot that only focuses on delivering wins in the form of coins to those who play.
Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 is a slot that is best suited to new and inexperienced players, with its simple gameplay and elegant design. Have you got what it takes to beat the Joker at his own game? Let’s play on and find out!
Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 Base Game and Features
Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 is a 3-reel slot with 1 fixed pay line. Each time the reels spin, they will reveal either a Number, Blank, or Joker symbol from the list below.
- Reel 1 – Can land numbers 5, 2, 1, and 0.
- Reel 2 – Can land numbers 2, 1, and 0.
- Reel 3 – Can land the number 0.
Whenever a number lands on a reel, a win will be calculated in the form of Coins, with Blanks having no value whatsoever. For example, if a 5 and a 2 land on reels 1 and 2, then you win 52 Coins, but if a 5, 2, and a 0 land across all 3 reels, you will win 500 Coins. Coin wins can be awarded regardless of their position on the reel set.
Triggering a Chance Spin is done by landing a 0 on all 3 reels during any one spin. Once the Chance Spin is active, all 3 reels will spin backward for a chance to win a Coin Prize, but this is not guaranteed.
Please note, the Chance Spin feature cannot be retrigged once active and the Free Reelin’ Bonus cannot be won during this time.
Free Reelin’ Bonus
Landing a Joker symbol on any of the reels automatically triggers the Free Reelin’ Bonus. Once triggered, an additional reel will be added to the leftmost position that is fixed with a number 1 symbol.
The remaining 3 reels can only land Blanks and 0’s to create a max win of up to 1,000x. The Free Reelin’ Bonus cannot be retriggered when in play.
Free Reelin’ Joker: Our Verdict
3 Reel, single pay line slots are a lot like Marmite, you either love them or hate them. If you crave a slot with multiple features, a ton of ways to win, Free Spins, and an impressive max win cap, Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 (or any of Play’n GO’s Joker titles for that matter) won’t appeal to you.
If you’re looking to take a trip down memory lane to a time when you’d head into the bookies for a quick game on a fruit machine (minus the fruit symbols here), then you may be compelled to give Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 a go.
Without the fruit symbols that were previously seen in Free Reelin’ Joker before this, Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 seems a little bland in comparison. Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 focuses more on the Coin Prizes than it does anything else, so missing a few fruit symbols may not bother you.
Not much has changed in the statistics side of things either. When comparing the two, you’d expect Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 to have a little something extra on the table other than a 0.1% difference in RTP (it is a sequel after all), but it doesn’t.
All in all, Free Reelin’ Joker 1000 is an unforgettable addition to Play’n GO’s portfolio, but not necessarily for the right reasons.
