We’re ready to dance, jump and jive yet again with a familiar yet totally new experience in the highly anticipated Jammin’ Jars 2.
Jammin’ Jars 2 brings forth a sense of excitement unrivalled by any other game due to be released this year in a groovy sequel that’ll have you heading for the dance floor.
In 2018 Push Gaming shocked the iGaming community with a game that has rightly gone down in slot history as one of the most exciting slots ever made, with a highly likeable theme, incredible potential and a lasting impression that gave Jammin’ Jars well deserved longevity, and so much popularity that it warranted a sequel.
People couldn’t quite get enough of the charming and light-hearted theme, and the highly entertaining and potential rich gameplay made Jammin’ Jars an unprecedented success.
Even 3 years after it’s release, Jammin’ Jars is still one of the most requested games on stream, and tales from the community of huge wins are still coming thick and fast.
Jammin’ Jars was so popular that other games even followed suit, like Dragon Fall from Blueprint Gaming, who took a similar formula, but gave it a more edgy theme with its fantasy/medieval Dragon theme.
Despite its popularity and success, Dragon Fall still couldn’t take the throne from Jammin’ Jars
Understandably, excitement for the release of Jammin’ Jars 2 is at an all-time high, but it’s got big shoes to fill.
Can Jammin’ Jars 2 live up to expectations? and will we see features that made the first so popular, but with a fresh perspective?
Let’s head to the club, meet the DJ and experience a night out with the Jars.
The theme Jammin’ Jars 2 will undoubtedly evoke fond memories of the original with a colourful theme, but it’ll give you a fresh and brand-new appreciation of the series with an updated and upbeat style with visuals and music that’ll have you raring to go.
The game has a Malibu kind of feel with palm trees and the tropical fruits certainly suggest that we’ve travelled somewhere exotic.
In the background, you’ll see ode to the original symbols of the first game with the Strawbery, Orange Apple, Raspberry and Plum up in neon lights. Perhaps the most interesting part of the visual design is the suave looking Jar to the left of the play area with sunglasses and headphones.
Sitting on a pedestal, he certainly looks the part and he is ready to bring the house down. This DJ doesn’t need arms to spin the vinyls.
The DJ will be integral within the gameplay of Jammin’ Jars 2, bringing features never seen before in the Jammin’ Jars universe.
The betting options in Jammin’ Jars 2 are the same as those in the original, so players can rest assured that Push Gaming have catered for everyone.
The lowest option for Jammin Jars 2 is £/€0.20 per spin, and the highest option is £/€100 per spin.
Although the betting options are the same, the symbols are anything but.
Jammin’ Jars 2 features a whole different cast in the form of the Fruit Symbols present in the game.
The highest paying symbol is the Red Pomegranate, Followed by the Pineapple, Melon, Peach, Berry and Fig.
Screaming ‘Massive Pomegranate’ at the screen in place of Strawberry doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, and it feels somewhat unfaithful to the Strawberry symbol that served up so many juicy wins in the original. With a new game comes new goals though, and the Pomegranate is definitely the one you want in Jammin’ Jars 2.
Our favourite symbol has made a return in the original in all its majesty…The Jar.
The Jar Symbol will act as a Wild, just as it did in the first game.
The Base Game for Jammin’ Jars 2 is very similar to that of the original, with a cluster pays mechanic and at least 5 of the same symbols needed within a cluster to form a win.
If the Jar Symbol connects to a win, then it will gain a multiplier of +1. The Jar will then move to an adjacent empty space, and any further winning combinations will also add a further multiplier.
If more than one Jar is present within a winning cluster, then the initial win will be multiplied by one of the Jars, and the resulting figure will then by multiplied by any other Jars within the combination.
Although not enough to trigger the bonus, even 2 Jars has proven enough in the past in getting some formidable wins.
If the conditions are right, even 2 can be a success story for some massive hits if you gain a big multiplier on each and make some connections to high paying clusters.
A returning feature in Jammin’ Jars 2 is the Fruit Blast Feature.
This feature will randomly trigger after any Cascade.
When this triggers, there will be an equalizer animation over the board, and one or more giant Fruit Symbol or an Instant Prize Symbol.
But what is this Instant Prize Symbol?
This is something entirely new in Jammin’ Jars 2, but you may just recognise from another highly esteemed Push Gaming instalment
Coin symbols may be present within the play area, and each hold a multiplier.
These act as their own symbols, and 5 of these together will trigger the Instant Prize Feature.
When a cluster of coins is formed, then each of the multipliers within them will be paid out as a multiplier of your current bet
Instant Prize Symbols have a range of values between 1x and 1000x.
You can definitely see the Razor Shark influence within this feature, and it’s a great little extra to have as something that differentiates Jammin’ Jars 2 from the original game.
Something else that is entirely new is the Collectable Gold Vinyl symbols.
During the Base Game, a Gold Vinyl may land anywhere in play.
This Gold Vinyl will travel to the DJ Jar, or ‘Giga Jar’ to use his proper name, and store itself within a meter. The space left behind by the gold vinyl will also reveal a random symbol.
Another of Push Gaming’s previous successes shine through here with a sort of Wild Swarm functionality.
When the Giga Jar has reached the Max level, then any further Vinyl’s have the chance to trigger the Giga Jar Feature.
The Giga Jar Feature is something entirely brand new, and it’s definitely something to be excited by.
When this feature triggers, the Giga Jar will throw 3 to 4 Wild Jar Symbols into play at random positions with random multipliers, and after that the Giga Jar itself will place itself onto the board.
The Giga Jar can take the form of a 2×2, 3×3, or 4×4 Instant Prize Symbol. 8 Spins are awarded in this mode.
Regular Symbols are not in play during this feature. Instead, Instant Prize Symbols may land.
Any symbols that land will stick, and when a cluster of 5 is formed then the multipliers within them will pay out and will continue to do so on every spin until the conclusion of the feature.
The Giga Jar itself will reveal an Instant Prize too, but the cluster must be at least 5 large, so a 2×2 Giga Jar will not trigger unless it is accompanied by another single Instant Prize Symbol or a Jar.
If a Jar is a part of a winning cluster, then the multiplier it holds will be added to the total cluster win.
Extra Spins may also land in play instead of an Instant Prize Coin.
At the end of the feature, a new Giga Jar will appear on screen and you’ll be boosted to an initial level of 2, 3 or 4.
This is great in the sense that you’ll never have to start on level 1 once you exceed it!
The Free Spins in Jammin’ Jars 2 is something a little bit more recognisable.
When 3 or more Wild Jar Symbols land anywhere, then the Free Spins will be triggered.
6 Spins are awarded, and the aim of the game is to connect the Jars to as many wins as possible to build the multiplier and then come together for a big hit!
The Giga Jar Feature is certainly a new and exciting addition, but it’s great to see the regular bonus round here too.
As was the case in the original, the total number of Jars on screen at any time will not exceed 4.
Jammin’ Jars 2 will be released for the world to enjoy on 02.06.2021.
Push Gaming have recently deviated from the Relax Gaming Platform in favour of using their very own.
Because of this, it means that online casinos with Push Gaming instalments from the Relax Platform may not get Jammin’ Jars 2 straight away.
We wanted to try Jammin’ Jars 2 for ourselves to make comparisons to the original and show you the gameplay and features.

In a sense, Push Gaming have taken some of their best and merged it into one big game.
The coin feature is certainly reminiscent of the infamous Razor Shark, and the progressive collection system for the Giga Jar Feature evokes some memories of the hunt for the Swarm in Wild Swarm.
Everything about Jammin’ Jars 2 so far just seems to indicate that it’s something to be really exciting about, and the statistics certainly back that up with a maximum win possibility of a huge 50,000x.
The increasing Average RTP between levels certainly makes for an interesting twist, and the implementation of the tried-and-true Free Spins feature seen in Jammin’ Jars 1 means that die-hard fans of the original can find a similar experience in the sequel, but with enhanced benefits.
Sequels often disappoint with features that separated it too much from the original game, leading to disappointed players who yearn for something akin to the game they know and love, but we think Jammin’ Jars fans will be overwhelmingly pleased with what Push Gaming have done with Jammin’ Jars 2.
Push Gaming have been clever in how they’ve approached a sequel. Any attempt at a follow up to something as popular as Jammin’ Jars would have to be a careful one, but they’ve succeeded in keeping the fundamental aspects of the game the same, but with a lot of brand new features as additional extras.
Some Push Gaming instalments state that the win potential is unlimited, but despite a 50,000x cap, Jammin’ Jars 2 does really feel like it has seemingly unlimited ability, which was what made the first game so immensely popular.
Overall, we feel like people will be more than pleased with what Push Gaming have done with Jammin’ Jars 2!
Note: Jammin’ Jars 2 is yet to be released, and as such information and opinions may change upon release of the final version.
Push Gaming have taken the core aspects of the first game and built upon them for a perfect sequel.
