Queenie Base Game and Features

Queenie is a 5 reel slot with 243 Ways to win. In order to form a win you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbols from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Queenie is not loaded with features like we’ve seen in other slots, but it does have a Wheel Feature that is similar to iSoftBet’s Hot Spin Hot Link. In additon to this, Queenie also has a Jackpot Bonus round which can only be triggered from the Wheel feature. More on these below.

Wheel Feature

Each time a Wild Heart symbol lands in the base game, there is a random chance of triggering the Wheel feature.

Once the Wheel feature is active, the reel frame will shrink and the Wheel will take center stage. The wheel is loaded with different prizes, these are as follows.

• Instant Cash Prize – Awards a random Cash Prize value between 8x and 200x your current bet.
• Multiplier – Awards a random Multiplier between x2 and x100, which is applied to the total win for that spin.
• Random Wilds – Awards a random number of Wilds to reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

The only way to trigger the Free Spins round in Queenie is by landing on a Free Spins slice during the Wheel feature. The number of Free Spins is determined by the random number hit on the Wheel slice. The Wheel feature can award anywhere between 10 and 100 Free Spins.

During the Free Spins round, the Wheel feature is present and active. Each time a Wild heart symbol lands, the Wheel feature is guranteed to trigger. The prizes available in the Wheel feature during the Free Spins round, is similar to the prizes available during the base game.

Landing a Free Spins slice on the Wheel feature, retriggers the Free Spins round, awarding a random amount of Free Spins.

If the maximum win capacity of 4,200x is reached, the Free Spins round will immediately end and all remaining Free Spins will be forfeited.

Queenie Bonus Buy

Queenie: Our Verdict

When we first came across Wild Streak Gaming’s Big Juan, we were less than impressed by the layout and graphics, so we were cautiously optimistic when it came to Queenie. Its safe to say that Queenie is definitely a step up from its sibling slots in all aspects. It seems that Wild Streak Gaming are upping the ante when it comes to their new releases and we couldn’t be happier. There are some minor cons to Queenie, but these are purely down to the overused theme.

For players who love iSoftBet’s Hot Spin Hot Link, you will certainly appreciate the Wheel feature that Wild Streak Gaming has put together here. There’s plenty of prizes to be had, including a vast amount of Free Spins and a juicy Jackpot Prize or two. The sad reality is that the Free Spins round can only be awarded by the Wheel Feature, and the chance of landing on those particular slices is slim, which may just be enough to put players off.

Statistically, Queenie presents itself with a rather impressive RTP of 96.51%, which is then dashed by a not so impressive maximum win capacity of 4,200x. Although the maximum win capacity is on the lower side to other slots, don’t let this deter you from giving Queenie a go.

Overall, Queenie is a step up from its sibling slots in most ways but still quite a few steps down from being one of the best slots of 2022.
