WWE Legends Link & Win Base Game

WWE Legends: Link and Win really does bring the essence of wrestling to life with a comprehensive design of the wrestling ring, the stadium and the crowd. Aside from the recognisable favourite wrestlers, All41Studios has gone far to ensure an immersive wrestling experience for long time fans.

Subtle touches like commentators quipping about the ‘lack of action’ when the reels aren’t spinning and entrance, finisher or tap-out animations for the symbols really gives WWE Legends: Link & Win some proper depth.

WWE Legends Link and Win really looks great on whatever device you’re playing on, whether it be IOS, Android or desktop, so you can enjoy the action wherever you’re playing.

WWE Legends: Link & Win has a variety of betting options for players to choose from. For players who prefer a lower stake, WWE Legends: Link & Win is playable from as little as £0.10 per spin. If higher stakes are your go to then WWE Legends: Link & Win offers players a maximum bet of £20 per spin, with plenty of options in between the two there’s a betting option for everyone.

The highest regular paying symbol in WWE Legends: Link & Win is Stone Cold Steve Austin followed by, Eddie Guerrero, Macho Man Randy Savage and Booker T. Lower paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen and Jack.

Wild symbols substitute for all symbols except Scatters and Coin symbols.

WWE Legends: Link & Win is a 5 reel slot with 25 fixed paylines. To form a win you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbols form left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

There’s plenty of action to be seen in this ring as we get ready to face the Link & Win and Hyperspins features, where we hope to climb the ladder and ring the 25,000x max win bell!

Hyperspins Feature

Situated below each of the 5 reels is a gold Respin button, these are known as the Hyperspins feature.

You have the choice to Respin any of the reels for a chance to complete wins, trigger Free Spins or activate the Link & Win feature.

Respins are only available after each base game spin and each respin is offered at a calculated price.

Unfortunately, Hyperspins won’t be a feature available to UK players.

During the base game in WWE Legends: Link & Win you will be given the opportunity to land some cash prizes!

To trigger the Link & Win feature you will need to land 6 or more coin symbols, once active the feature begins with 3 Respins.

Coins that triggered the feature remain in view and all empty spaces will start to spin, if any more coins land on the reels they too will remain in view and Respins will reset back to 3.

To further add to the excitement, certain coins can reveal either a Multiplier prize or up to four whopping Jackpot prizes!

  • Collector Coin
    • The green coin adds the values of other coins to its own.
  • Multiplier Coin
    • The blue coin increments the win Multiplier.
  • Payer Coin
    • The red coin adds its value to the other coins.

Situated on the left side of the screen you will see four individual amounts, these are Jackpot prizes than can be won during the Link & Win feature.

  • Champion – 5,000x your bet
  • Major – 1,000x your bet
  • Minor – 100x your bet
  • Mini – 50x your bet

If you’re lucky enough to fill all the positions with coins, you will automatically be awarded the Champion Jackpot prize!

The Link & Win feature will continue until the Repsin count is complete or all coin positions are filled.

WWE Legends Link & Win feature

WWE Legends: Link & Win gives players a chance to get some Free Spins under their belt, to do this you will need to land 3 Scatters on reels 1, 3 and 5 which awards you with 5 Free Spins.

Landing 3 Scatters during Free Spins will award you an additional 3 Free Spins.

During Free Spins, reels 2, 3 and 4 will merge into a single reel with Giant symbols which count as 9 symbols. Giant Scatter symbols count as 1 symbol.

Once all Free Spins are complete, normal gameply will resume.

For those outside the UK you may benefit from a Bonus Buy option. This option only allows players to purchase the Link & Win feature not Free Spins.

The Link & Win feature can be purchased for 60x your total bet.

WWE Legends definitely delves into the world of wrestling with recognisable favourites in what becomes an immersive experience, but in terms of gameplay there’s nothing that stands out too much.

Hyperspins and the lack of it in the UK market is a regulatory necessity rather than the fault of the developer, but the lack of it still makes WWE Legends: Link and Win a less desireable option to those within the UK.

There’s definitely some positives to mention though. Although not entirely innovative, All41 Studios has done well to make this slot desirable with its win capabilities and how they handle the Link & Win Feature. Special symbols within these features throw out some enhancements to improve what may have otherwise been a rather dull feature, and Free Spins can certainly be entertaining when it wants to be.

Sometimes though, it just felt like our proud ring walk was ended swiftly by a big Elbow Drop from Macho Man Randy Savage. Sometimes it felt like he hit us with such force that he jumped from the stadium roof rather than the ropes around the ring. As we lay on the mat of the ring being pinned, we wonder if the 25,000x win capabilities are just too ambitious? Maybe it’s technically possible, but practically we’re not sure if it is

WWE Legends Slot Review Summary

Overall, we can see some potential in WWE Legends, but we can’t envision overwhelming popularity. Wrestling has always been a rather divisive subject anyway, with many who can’t comprehend why adults may still entertained by the theatrics.
