You basically said they earn like 30% on loses so what more do you need to know? Want to become an affiliate yourself and wanted more info on it maybe asking the question without the murky unregulated comment would have got you some sensible answers. It's know secret they earn off Beeing an affiliate has many people in the world make really good money selling other people's products

I'm not a troll, I'm simply asking why the whole affiliate program is ultra secretive. Considering its the backbone of the business model surely it can be talked about.

Yea it can be but surely murky unregulated comes off abit wrong when u want to find out how a business model works

Now now lads, this forum is set up for discussions, and we rightly so will discuss anything, but please, there's no need for insults name calling etc, you can agree to disagree like the adults we all are.

Now then Scotty.

Since you're obviously looking in, again, can you shed some light on the questions I've asked?

Genuinely not interested in money figures, but why it is all such a big secret almost like it's a taboo subject??

Ok ok ok ok ok, I chose the wrong words in the thread title ... specifically murky....but it is unregulated. Now can you please move on David?

U need to realise they make money on others losing and not gaining this is more why it's looked at thsi way it is I'm sure you can understand that. Me personally wouldn't want to discuss the fact some guys probably just lost his marriage 3 kids and Toyota hybrid but I've just gained a few k in my pocket. And how can it be regulated or how would u want to see it regulated? It's impossible it's just another form of affiliation so there for its kinda impossible. What's next regulating football teams that promote William Hill betfred on there shirts and websites that people sign up threw? So many more out there that make money this way just seems streamers get the raw end of the deal. The regulations should be in place to stop streamers who use websites that let them stream with fake money whilst in there affiliate programme and we all know there's loads out there

if you look on the google, you can find any Affiliate program for any casino, here is one for video slots

partner.videoslots.com

tells you everything you could earn, its not unregulated.

We are working very hard on compliance and regulations, helping and making sure all our affiliates are up to date when it comes to this. It is vital to meet the requirements, requirements may change depending on which markets you promote us in. To try and make this easier for all affiliates, we have compiled guides customized to the regulations in the various markets. In these, you can see full details on what do to and how to do it.

thats one bit, you find this out on the website...

You know I’m not the most active on threads but felt the need to comment here. We have NEVER been secretive about the affiliate model in casino - if anything we have been the complete opposite to many other casino streamer affiliates and have been open from day 1 that we are affiliates and this is a business which both josh and I have worked in for 15+ years. I reckon if every streamer was honest from day 1 then these questions wouldn’t be raised over and over again. Of course we have no need to tell you our earnings as it’s our business but as many have mentioned on this thread if it bugs you so much then of course please don’t feel the need to use ours or any affiliate links. Keep it fruity !

Why is it so secretive?

Is there a particular reason why no affiliates will ever engage in a conversation about what being an affiliate fully entails?

similarly, are people who sign up via an affiliates link aware of what that entails...for example some sites pay affiliates upto 30% of the losses incurred by an account holder for the life of the account....put simply sign up and deposit then subsequently lose £100. Your favourite streamer will likely end up being given around £30 of that money, crazy really.

I don't expect anyone involved in the site to respond to this in a meaningful way but it's a question that's worth asking.

We are very transparent on affiliation.

write down every question you have and will do our best to answer it as long as it’s not private like,  “how much do you earn” which is a very odd question to ask anyone

Well I already have a few times on here. I've noticed a few times when it's been asked on stream (and not just to you channel) it's been either point blank ignored or brushed aside. It just seems very odd to me that no casino streamers are willing to talk about it when it's fundamentally the main reason why they can afford to stream.

Is it so secretive because everyone is on a different percentage and you don't want to give your 'rivals' an opportunity to undercut your terms?

Btw I appreciate the response and despite how I might be perceived here I'm really not trying to just be a dick. I do enjoy fruity slots, watched loads of other streamers over the past few years and most of them get very annoying after a while....I won't name any names because you wouldn't "like" that. But I only watch fruity and the bandit these days.

There is no big secret. Affiliation is becoming way more regulated now in the gaming industry now anyway.

If you are not an affiliate you will not be aware  of the advertising code of conducts you have to adhere too which are many.

Commercial deals are for the most part commonly known as generic deals but individual deals are customised for affiliates depending on thier type, level and value of traffic. EG an ppc affiliate who advertises on google and targets high value keywords and therefore brings better value customers will be able to negotiate a better affiliate deal than a social media affiliate who may bring less value, low depositing free play type players.

Its not about giving your competitors an opportunity to undercut you, its about respecting the fact that affiliate agreements are between 2 parties and not there to be shared to anyone who asks. An affiliate is only going to be able to negotiate a commercial deal that works for both parties otherwise the casino will just cancel or adjust the deal which happens a lot.

Affiliates are in breach of thier affiliate 'contract' if they openly disclose thier commercial terms so that is why you dont hear streamers talking about exact deals and numbers.

Hope some of that clears things up for you.

Once again thank you for the reply, and it does clear some things up for me so thanks for the detailed response.

Personally if I’m going to lose anyway because I enjoy a gamble and I stick within my means!  I would rather an affiliate get a cut so they have money towards streaming that I enjoy watching rather than the casino getting it all 🤷‍♂️So my money goes towards a gamble which I do because I enjoy it and it’s fun and also goes towards streams because I enjoy them and they are fun.

Sorry but every time I read the word slippers it makes me LOL 😂 anyway I found out a little bit more about how things work by going through the procedures of becoming a casino affiliate. It is what it is, make of it what you please. A lot of “popular” streamers I don’t watch because their entertainment value is bollox... Yawn 🥱

I can’t sign up via any links on fruity because I’m on GameStop but for the entertainment they provide solely with their personalities I will sub to their channel or donate a couple of ££ via superchat, maybe purchase a little merchandise but that’s all they get out of me. Am I jealous of what they do for a living? Hell yeah but Fair play to them.
