Good question, the 9k odd is profit, it's not 9k minus deposits if thats what you mean.

In terms of how I afforded to play these stakes - I decided to play 10 £1 spins one evening and hit 1000x with a big win and a bonus, over the next few days I deposited £40 a couple of times and played 10 £4 spins a go to try for an early bonus. When I hit it payed another £1200ish and I'd spent maybe £100... of course, as gamblers do, I believed I could win more. Since I was now up alot I decided to have a £500 loss limit and try for a £10 bonus (way out of my comfort zone, but I wanted to take my opportunity whilst playing with the casinos money). 

Off I went with £100 deposits, 10 spins. If it didn't hit I'd come back later and try again, whatever I had left after 10 spins I withdrew, often enough it was more than I deposited. I went to my 4th or 5th deposit before the first £10 bonus landed but i was only £100 or so into my loss limit.

To be honest I was petrified to play the bonus, like excited and scared at the same time, I knew how lucky I'd been to land this bonus and still be 2k up so I saved it in my account and played it the next day, that one paid over 2k so I was now 4k up over all in around a week. I set myself another £500 loss limit and did the same as before. I did go up and down an few hundred of course but over the course of this last week I've been hitting consistent 100x+ base wins and another couple of bonuses.

So to answer your question, it hasn't actually 'cost' me anything, I've just been incredibly lucky and probably a bit stupid with stakes, but it payed off.

Generally I play min stakes 20p spins with £5 or £10 deposits once or twice a week, this game and the wins just kind of took hold of me. To be honest I'm shocked at myself for gambling such high amounts of money, even if it wasn't mine in the first place. Because of this reason I've decided to now keep my wins and have excluded myself from the sites.

Although I'm happy for what I've won, I can see how these games can have a really serious impact on your mental well being and things really can get out of control easily. 6 months ago I would laugh at streamers doing £10 spins and think how unimaginable it would be to do, yet here I am.

I enjoy playing and gamble what I can afford but I really need to cool off and quit while I'm ahead.
