Hi guys and Gals , sorry to say but really hate xmas time as it means Im all alone in my flat for the next 11 days bored out of my mind. Thing is I got divorced and my daughter is now 22 and has her own life. My job keeps me going but being self employed earn no money at the holiday time. So it will be a real struggle to make ends meet . Maybe I should now self exclude from gaming sites, can I do this for say just a month ?

Its 5:21am on New Years Eve, I've had a week of hardly any sleep. I stopped gambling for 6 years including excluded from all bookies. Gambling made me homeless for 6 months and nearly ended my life. I needed to sort my life out so I gave up, went to GA regularly and have not gambled for 6 years till a week ago. I know it was the bug, I made the mistake of being drunk and letting the bug take over and I blew £3000 in the space of an hour. I could not believe it I was mortified, its left me down shit creek without a paddle. I've signed up to gamstop so that should sort that part out.

Now my worry is replacing the money, my friends and family dont have that kind of money laying around, my credit rating is screwed from my old gambling days. I'm too much of a proud person to ask for handouts so loaning from family or friends was my only option.

Need an ear before I end up doing something stupid.

I've been watching fruity slots for quite some time on youtube, you guys are not to blame for this though I love watching, this is my own fault and I'm so ashamed. Anyway my rant is over sorry about the essay

This is a brilliant thread and I'm more than happy to be there for anyone who wants to talk about anything as well. Have had my fair share of ups and downs in the past and come through it. Advice needed please my wife set up an account with unibet and deposited £200 POUNDS and got a £200 POUNDS bonus she made the deposit from my credit card she managed to complete wagering and got up to 12600 pound when she tried to withdraw the money they said that they were withholding the money and putting £200 back on my credit card and frozen the account. My wife has been in contact with them and they are giving every excuse not to pay the money. Can anybody help to give me advice in this matter. That money is a life changing amount!! Hi sorry to hear this, what reason have they have to not releasing the money? Did you check and 're check the bonus terms, i know of some instances that if you use more than £5 on a spin in bonus funds it will cancel it. Will get josh and Jamie to have a read they will be able to advise more than I can x

I dont have facebook mate not used it for years. I'm going to be seeing a doctor next week to sort my head out anyway but I appreciate the offer Ben if I need to chat bud we can sort something out if thats ok with you?

 

Also just replying to Kenny, I think they may have done that because the account is in your Mrs name and the card is in your name. Normal protocol would be for them to refund the card and close the account. They technically should not have taken then payment in the first place but I'm pretty sure they can refuse your winnings based on that. Linzspins could be right also it could have been something to do with bonus terms. Hope it gets sorted
