gusyonok Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 Hot on the heels of Beetlejuice comes a new slot trying to make us believe it's the mid 1980s and not 2020! Still. if you can get over the anachronistic anomaly of a slot that pays homage to a moderately successful (and oft derided) glam rock band who "peaked" almost 40 years ago, this slot is actually quite fun to play. It looks good and has lots o/f weird features to keep you entertained, and the base balance ticking over. Very much in the mould of Reactoonz, and especially Wild Frames, this is a cluster cascade game that has the "building" feature you know and love from the aforementioned pair. Wins allow you to climb the guitar ladder and in turn release features such as wild, unite, scream and so on, which basically give you more chance of wins. To get the bonus, you need 4 "Angry Dad's" to appear anywhere. This then brings out a "group cluster", which is a moving image of the eponymous combo belting out probably their most famous song, "We ain't gonna take it". This cluster is like a mini Garga, and moves around the board giving you wins. Every time it lands next to "dad", it kicks him off the screen. When all 4 dads have been dispatched, the bonus is over. I would recommend this slot. It's fun to play, gives plenty of base wins to keep you going, and the mystery features seem to be flying around all the time. It can all get a bit confusing (watching Jamie playing it and being totally bemused was priceless!) but at least it's not another boring megaways!! If you like the music of Dee Snider and the boys, then you'll be cranking the volume all the way up to 11 while it belts out as you play. If not, you can always mute, though I would recommend putting the sound on if you get the bonus. "We aint gonna take it" is still a pretty banging tune and it's quite fun to hear dad screaming as he's hurled out of the window! Quote
Nakedfish85 Posted June 12, 2020 Posted June 12, 2020 Fair review, one thing of note, you don't just need 4 dads appearing anywhere on screen, you need to make wins with 4 angry dads, if you get more than the basic 4 your multiplier in the bonus increases by 1 per extra angry dad. Quote
gusyonok Posted June 12, 2020 Author Posted June 12, 2020 yes thanks for that mate-I was playing again yesterday and noticed that 4 angry dads on screen doesn't always give the bonus-it's 4 wins using angry dad as you rightly said Quote
