FruitySlots Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Our Sunday Slot Battles are a very popular segment and feature of our channel and we often run provider slot battles. Last month we ran our first ever provider battle for 4The Player which was a great success and we received some really positive feedback from viewers about the games and their studio! @Henry_4thePlayer was present in the chat during the live stream and fielded a lot of questions that he tried his best to answer. We have teamed up with them to run an open Q&A so here is your chance to ask a game developer anything you want (keep it serious and on topic!). You don't need to post questions related to their games, but feel free to do so if you wish. You can ask anything from what goes into creating a game, artist design, maths modelling, sound tracks, RTPs, game features/bonus features or even how easy/hard it is to get a game onto a casino! Feel free to be creative and use this as a great opportunity to get some answers to a host of questions that viewers regularly ask us as streamers related to game studios! 4The Player will sift through and collate the best and more relevant questions posted on this thread and then we will publish their answers as a blog post! Best 3 questions get some 4The Player merch!
Pete_glasgow Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi there. I’ve always wondered what slot providers do to promote diversity in their animations - lots of handsome men and lovely women but not so much from BAME, LGBT etc. do you think there is more that slot providers can do in the imagery of their games to promote inclusion? 1 1
Samsey.uk Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 When designing a new slot do you allow the designer full creative control or do you come up with concept as a business and then design? Also, when designing do you use backing data to establish what slots Grau tires are most popular?
HoohArted Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi, what i would like to know is from drawing board to casino, how long roughly does it take to develop a game and how many people are involved in the making of a game, i don't gamble much but do enjoy watching. thanks.. 1
MrJamieWebb Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hey, How easy is it to create a new slot that's based on existing franchises or TV shows? For example, does permission need to be given from HBO for a game about The Walking Dead? and then do they give out a list of things you can and cannot do within that slot? I've always been curious about that kind of thing. Thanks guys, Jamie
Abatters Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi, what systems do you use to create game concepts and story characters.?? Also how long does it take from start to release, to design and make one of your games ? And how many people work on the project to bringing the game to market ? thanks
Slotsim Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Question about UK playing, do you think there is a way for all providers to make games fairer for UK players in terms of RTP? We have a huge disadvantage in terms of no auto spins and no bonus buys.. How do you think this problem could be solved in order to allow a fair game for everyone? 2
Allyg77 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 Hi guys what does it cost and how much time does it take to make a slot from start to finish or roughly
Jsw2020 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 4 The player has so many original titles and has avoided the megaways mechanics. 90k yeti was a massive hit with fans, and the new 4 fantastic fish hitting the ultra fish fir so many. Can we see some more games like 6 wild sharks, where you decide how the bonus plays out. And my thoughts for a game, is all scatters that land, have different values. I.e. 3/4 scatters for a bonus and they reveal either multipliers between 1x and 50x, and 1 spin to 50 spins. So you could hit say, 11x 3x 4x and 5 spins 7x 4 spins 9 spins 3 spins 25x 35x 22 spins 14 spins So every bonus will be different from the next and you can get more for extra scatters. 6 reels like a lot of the games, and max win of 10,000x, and possibly a bonus feature such as, a 4theplayer scatter that triggers a automatic bonus of sorts on reel 6. Obviously a lot rarer to get that feature, but gives you that extra hope of a bonus for the UK players. P.s. I wasn't too best pleased this missed but I've still had a few good hits on your games. Is there also anyway of obtaining merxh from yourselves, as i collect slot merch and have won a couple of posters of fruity gang from ither providers and would love a 4theplayer poster to add along side it.
dahug3 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 My question would be to Relax Gaming.. how is the RTP on Money Cart 1 and 2 so high, when you can go 30-40 spins and win 20x quite frequently?
Alexround2000 Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) Are slots rigged Edited July 7, 2022 by Alexround2000
NoDeal Posted July 7, 2022 Posted July 7, 2022 (edited) 1. Fruity Slots designed slot. Would you be up for our community to design a slot similar to what casino grounds have successfully done with beast mode etc. You would have a community of 40, 000 ready to test and play. Maybe even a forum compo for top 10 X wins. 2. RTP. If a high stakes player loses 1 million on max bet and has a poor RTP e.g 25% and now the slot is massively over RTP. Then a few hundred casuals play it on min bet does the slot pay back the excess in monetary values or the excess RTP%. Surely it can't pay a few hundred grand to anyone on min bet so it must be a higher RTP? 3. Future: AR / VR have you started looking 5 years in the future where you could portray a bonus in AR on a mobile phone. Huge scope here for entertaining bonuses maybe linked to the meta verse and some community crossovers so YouTube subs can participate in the bonus live on stream via a QR code with avatars. Shikiru Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Hey, Thanks for some really fun new slots, 7 elements is one of my favourite games to play at the moment. Hoping it'll pop off big soon!! As for some questions. Do you plan on staying volatile with all your slots now? Seems you are releasing games more often have you ramped up production recentley? And finally do you plan on bringing the 60heist bonus boost mechanic to more of your new games?
Mark Bowley Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 What do you think of the UK as a market compared to other jurisdictions? Is it difficult to navigate in comparison to MGA territory?
Monkstandinglast Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 As NoDeal above pointed out and I've mentioned in previous streams the VR market and to have some sort of physical feeling whilst playing slots online is really lacking for example you can have the reels operated with virtual hands to either drag individual reels spin or all at once, punching motions to stop the reel/s, bonuses that feel like you are playing those cash grab wind tunnel boxes, sports themed bonuses would be more exciting like playing a mini game of whichever sport against an AI or if the tech skills allow it against other slot players like a community interactive bonus where the prize is maybe ×200 or appropriately set to be divided between the top 3 scorers of game. Other benefits that could come from being the first to utilise VR would be partnerships with the VR companies for customised devices etc maybe extra free publicity and having major bragging rights within the gaming community. As far as I'm Know the nearest attempt of using any new visual/game hardware enhancements is with those new (a few years ago) terminals which have the Kinect eye motion detect built in and the displays that have the sudo 3d affects mainly in the USA so to have full VR in the UK available for casinos and other gaming venues first and then expand to the US market later would be an excellent way of helping us forget about the horrible unwanted forced regulations on us. Sounds more like a sales pitch but the questions are, How long until or if this will ever be done? Do you think it's worthwhile starting to put a development team together now especially now the whole VR / wearable accessories are technolgically becoming far more improved on and more available to the average person at reasonable prices? Finally even with no previous experience in coding slot games do you hire people purely based on their imagination/ways of visualising and showing how new slots could look and be played like? or even allow ordinary members of the public to submit their own ideas? side note to this, opening Q&A's like this is great maybe branching off this holding slot design competitions/forums could bring fresh ideas for new game mechanics. Thanks for the time doings this. 1
Welshbubble Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 From start to finish, how long does it take? From pen to paper to the slot being released?

Henry_4thePlayer Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Thanks for the questions so far, some great ones in there! Keep them coming and we will pick in a weeks time 😎 2
Superbry Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Ive always wondered why are slot games mostly aimed with a childish theme??? With online casinos only accessible by 18 years and over why isn't there more adult themed slots! No limit city have started to introduce a few more mature games and they are definitely more entertaining
Jordantheconqueror Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 When coming up with ideas for slots where do u start is it with a name or a slot concept
