Base Game & Features
Trophy Fish is a highly volatile 5-reel, 3-row Video Slot with 20 active pay lines and varying betting options between £.€0.10 and £.€20 per spin. Other noteworthy statistics include an overall RTP of 95.71% and a max win cap of 27,109x your bet.
Wins are calculated when 2-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Each High-paying symbol resembles a fishing icon, producing wins between 0.2x and 50x your bet, whilst Low-paying (A-10) symbols produce wins between 0.2x and 3x your bet.
Fisherman Wilds
The Fisherman Wild symbol can only appear in the middle position of reel 3, highlighted by a Golden Frame. When in view, the Fisherman Wild substitutes for all symbols except Scatters.
If the Fisherman Wild appears in the same spin as the Fish symbols, he will collect their Cash Values and apply them to the total win of that spin.
Fish Symbols
Fish symbols are special Scatter symbols that hold various Cash Prizes, appearing in all positions except the middle of reel 3.
When a Fish symbol hits, it will remain in its position for up to 2 spins. In addition, if a new Fish symbol hits, it will remain in its position and reset the Lock Counter of all other Fish symbols in view.
2 types of Fish symbols can land – these include:
- Cash Fish: Hold an instant cash prize between 1x and 10x your bet. Their combined value is awarded when caught by a Fisherman Wild.
- Trophy Fish: Award 1 of 4 Jackpot Prizes of Blue (50x), Green (100x), Red (250x), and Purple (1,000x).
Golden Fish
In addition to regular Fish symbols, this game is also home to special Golden Fish symbols. When a Fisherman Wild collects a Golden Fish, the Prize Multiplier above the main reel set increases.
The Prize Multiplier is applied to the overall value accumulated from all Cash Prizes collected by the Fisherman Wild. The multiplier values and the golden fish required to achieve them are as follows:
- 1 Golden Fish: 3x your bet
- 2 Golden Fish: 5x your bet
- 3 Golden Fish: 10x your bet
- 4 Golden Fish: 20x your bet

Free Spins
Triggering the Free Spins round requires a Fisherman Wild to collect a Free Spins Fish symbol in the base game. Once active, 8 Free Spins are awarded.
During this round, the Fisherman Wild remains locked in its position on reel 3 for the duration of the feature. When Fish symbols land, the Fisherman Wild will instantly collect their values. If a Free Spins Fish is caught, an additional +8 Free Spins are awarded.

Our Verdict
Naturally, when we first heard of Trophy Fish from Red Tiger, we half-expected to find another copycat of Reel Kingdom’s Big Bass series. However, we’re happy to say, our predictions were completely wrong, and we found it to be unique and exciting.
When you first load up Trophy Fish, you’re met with a beautiful view of a harbour of some sort, with the main reel set sitting just beneath the surface. It’s quite a lovely and peaceful view, even with the sinking boat and the many lost anchors.
In this game, the aim is to land a Fisherman Wild in the middle position of reel 3. If you do, you will reel in those glorious Fish symbols and their values, with the opportunity of triggering Free Spins.
Unclaimed Fish symbols will remain on the reels for up to 2 spins, with the chance to reset their stay if another lands in view. In addition to regular Fish symbols, you will have the opportunity to catch Golden and Trophy Fish. Each of these symbols offers higher values and Prize Multipliers.
In Free Spins, the Fisherman Wild hangs around for the entire feature, collecting each Fish symbol and its value throughout spins. It’s a strange feeling really…fishing is about catching Fish, yet it feels like you’re desperately trying to catch the Fisherman Wild in the base game.
