Interrogation Feature & Clue Scatters

To the left of the reel set is 3 Suspects, each with their own Cash Prize attached to them that changes with each spin. Each suspect can reveal the following Cash Prizes.

  • Suspect 1 – 15x, 10x, or 15x your bet.
  • Suspect 2 – 25x, 30x, 40x, 50x, or 75x your bet.
  • Suspect 3 – 100x, 150x, 250x, 350x, or 500x your bet.

Each time a Clue Scatter lands on reels 2, 3, and 4, it will be collected and stored on the first suspect’s Counter. After collecting 7 Clue Scatters, the Interrogation feature will begin.

During the Interrogation feature, the end result with either be Successful or Unsuccessful. A successful interrogation will award the Cash Prize from the corresponding suspect, and the feature moves on to the next Suspect.

The Interrogation feature will end when all suspects have been successfully interrogated, or if an unsuccessful interrogation occurred.

Cases & Evidence Scatters

To the right of the reel set is 3 Case Folders. Each time an Evidence Scatter lands on the middle reel, it is collected and contributes towards solving the cases. Each case requires 10 Evidence Scatters to land in order for a case to be solved.

If the first case is solved, you are guaranteed to have a successful first interrogation, delivering a special reward when the Interrogation feature is triggered.

If the second case is solved, the number of Clues that are required to trigger the Interrogation feature is reduced to 5. If the third case is solved, a 4th Suspect is introduced with a 2,000x Cash Prize that is interrogated successfully. The 4th Suspect will only be interrogated if all 3 previous suspects have been successfully interrogated.

Case Closed: Our Verdict

Case Closed caught our attention for its detective theme above anything else, but did gameplay catch on just as quickly?

Case Closed has been stripped bare of Free Spins, Respins, and even Wild symbols for a more relaxed gaming experience. It’s not all bad news though, with special Clue and Evidence Scatters that open up new cases and allow you access to Suspects that definitely have something to hide.

The Interrogation feature is a fun and very clever way to tie in gameplay with the theme, but will your interrogation skills prove to be successful? Pulling off a successful interrogation leads to Cash Prizes of up to 500x your bet and an ego boost for doing it so well.

Evidence Scatters are the trickiest to land, but the rewards are much more beneficial to your case. Each time a case is solved, you will earn rewards that make your job a lot easier, including a 4th Suspect that awards a 2,000x Cash Prize once you have successfully interrogated all 3 previous suspects.

All this great detective work means you’re due a big bonus, but it’s not quite the figure you had hoped for. Case Closed can deliver a max win of up to 2,640x, which is quite the slap in the face after all the hard work you’ve put in.

All in all, you don’t need to be Sherlock Holmes to know that Case Closed isn’t quite the hottest case this year, but it’s definitely not terrible.
