Cash Patrol Base Game and Features

Cash Patrol is a 5 reel slot with25 fixed paylines. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbols types from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. The minimum bet available here is £/€0.25 per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€125 per spin, with penty of other options in between the two.

In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol in Cash Patrol is the Police Car, followed by the Cash, Police Hat and Handcuffs. Low-paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen and Jack. There is also a Wild symbol present, which substitutes for all symbols except Scatters, Money and Collect symbols. Wild symbols will only appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5.

The Money Collect Feature that is on offer here is one that has been used before in other Pragmatic Play titles. The Money Collect feature may not be the most exhilarating, but it does bring some action to an otherwise boring base game. More on this below.

Money Collect Feature

During the base game, Robber symbols can land on reels 1, 2, 3 and 4, displaying a random Cash Value from a predefined set.

The Cash Values on all Robber symbols will not be awarded unless one of the following Collect symbols land on Reel 5.

• Collect – All Cash Values visible on the reels are added together and awarded.
• Extra Collect – Is equipped with its own Extra Credit Value, which is applied to all visible Cash Values on the reels. All Cash Values are then added together and awarded.
• Multiplier Collect – All Cash Values visible on the reels are multiplied by the current Multiplier Collect symbol. All Cash Values are then added together and awarded.
• Expanding Collect – All reels that contain at least 1 Robber symbol will expand, filling the entire reel(s) with Robber symbols. All additional Robber symbols will be given their own Cash Value, then all Cash Values will be added together and awarded.
• Respin Collect – When the Respin Collect symbol lands, all Robber symbols currently in view will remain fixed in their positions whilst a Respin is awarded, with the possibilty of landing more Robber symbols. Once the Respin is complete, all Cash Values will be added together and awarded.

Cash Patrol Free Spins

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4, triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 1x your current bet and 8 Free Spins.

During the Free Spins round, Robber and Collect symbols are active like they are in the base game, but instead of being instantly awarded, they are stored in a Bonus Pot.

Once the Free Spins round is complete, the Value of the Bonus Pot is returned to the reels in the form of a giant Robber symbol, covering reels 1-4, awarding +1 Respin. If during the final Respin one of the Collect symbols land on reel 5, the current Cash Value of the Bonus Pot is awarded.

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 during Free Spins, awards an addiitonal +8 Free Spins and there is no limit to how many times you can retrigger.

Cash Patrol: Our Verdict

Cash Patrol is a simple slot, but surprisingly, its statistically more capable than some of Pragmatic Play’s other, more complex slots.

5,000x is Pragmatic Play’s go-to win cap for most of their games, and opinions are a bit divided as to whether it’s enough, given the direction of volatile slots at the moment. Many slots regularly out-gun Pragmatic Play titles in terms of potential, and while they’re not always achievable, they’re certainly an attractive choice for those looking to hit big.

But what about Cash Patrol? This time around Pragmatic Play has doubled the potential by making Cash Patrol capable of 10,500x wins, which seems more in line with the slots of today.

In terms of actual gameplay, Cash Patrol isn’t overly innovative with various features seen elsewhere many times before, but it’s proven features like these that players enjoy. It’s certainly diverse enough in the sense that there’s more than one feature to look forward to with its Money Collect Feature and Free Spins, so we think players will find plenty here in the form of entertainment, as well as potential.

Overall, Cash Patrol may not be a grandiose statement piece from Pragmatic Play, but it’s quite enjoyable and impressive enough.
