Gorilla Mayhem Base Game and Features

Gorilla Mayhem is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more (or 2 or more of the highest paying symbol) from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. The minimum bet available here is £/€0.20 per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€100 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.

In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol in Gorilla Mayhem is the Gorilla, followed by the Leopard, Crocodile, Hippo, Parrot and Snake. Golden Gorilla Symbols

During any random spin in the base game, Golden Gorilla symbols may appear on reels 2, 3, 4 and 5 which substitutes for regular Gorilla symbols.

Golden Gorilla symbols may land with more than one Gorilla head attached, which awards their own Multiplier as follows.

• 1 Gorilla Head – Awards a Multiplier of x1.
• 2 Gorilla Heads – Awards a Multiplier of x2.
• 3 Gorilla Heads – Awards a Multiplier of x3.

The Gorilla Multiplier(s) will only be applied to all winning Gorilla combinations.

Gorilla Mayhem Free Spins

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters in any position on the reels triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10, 15 and 20 Free Spins respectively. During the Free Spins round, a Progressive feature is in play.

All regular Gorilla and Golden Gorilla symbols that land will be collected and stored in the Progression Meter on the right side of the reel set. For every 40 Gorilla symbols that are collected, the current Level is increased as follows.

• Level 1 – In level 1, Golden Gorilla symbols can award a random Multiplier of x1, x2 or x3.

There’s no shame in getting inspiration from somewhere else and no doubt we’ve all followed in another’s footsteps in one way or another so there’s no reason why providers can’t do the same.

The reason we say this is because Gorilla Mayhem does share a fair few similarities to NetEnt’s Gorilla Kingdom including theme, Primate and even the blue crystal Scatter. Of course this is just speculation and we have no definitive proof, but it can’t just be coincidence…can it?

Gorilla Mayhem may share similarities to Gorilla Kingdom but it definitely has its own unique qualities thanks to the Golden Gorilla symbols that appear in both the base game and Free Spins round. It’s hard to say if the base game or Free Spins round has the most potential but there is definitely enough of it in both areas.

In terms of statistics, Gorilla Mayhem has an above average RTP of 96.50% and a pretty standard 5,000x maximum win capacity on offer which is pretty typical for a Pragmatic Play title.
