Monster Superlanche Base Game and Features

Monster Superlanche is a 6×5 Video Slot with a Scatter Pays mechanic. Winning combinations are formed when 8 or more of the same symbols appear anywhere across the grid.

The minimum bet available here is £/€0.20 (£/€0.25 Ante Bet) per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€100 (£/€125 Ante Bet) per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. This game has a theoretical RTP of 96.03% and a max win cap of 5,000x.

All high and low-paying symbols fall to a series of coloured Monsters. The highest paying symbol here is the Giant Orange Monster, followed by the Giant Red, Green and Yellow Monsters. Low-paying symbols fall to the Smaller Orange, Pink, Purple, Blue and Green Monsters. There is no Wild symbol present.

Winning Symbols Tumble

Monster Superlanche has a Tumble feature. Each time a winning combination forms, all winning symbols will remain in place and all other symbols will be removed from the grid.

The remaining winning symbols will then drop to the lowest point on the grid and new symbols will drop down via a Tumble, filling all empty positions on the grid. The tumble feature will continue until no new symbols matching the winning set(s) land in view.

During each base game spin, a random Multiplier with values between x2 and x100 will appear atop each of the 6 reels. Whenever a reel is filled with winning symbols at the end of a Tumble, the Multiplier from that reel will be applied to all winning combinations.

If more than 1 Multiplier is active, their Multipliers will first be added together and then applied. At the end of the Tumble sequence, all wins are added to your balance.

Ante Bet

Before you can begin spinning, you will be given the option to activate the Ante Bet feature. (RTP 95.98%)

Activating the Ante Bet feature will increase your current bet by 25%, but with that comes an advantage. Once active, the chance of landing Free Spins is naturally higher, with more Scatters appearing on the grid.

Monster Superlanche Free Spins

Landing 4, 5 or 6 Scatters across the grid triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 8, 12 and 20 Free Spins respectively.

During Free Spins, whenever a Multiplier is applied to a winning combination, it’s current value is also added to a Global Multiplier meter. Each time a new Multiplier is activated, the Global Multiplier is also added to the new Multiplier for that spin.

Landing 3, 4, 5 or 6 Scatters during this round will award an additional +3, +8, +12 and +20 Free Spins respectively.

Monster Superlanche: Our Verdict

Monster Superlanche reminded us of nothing that Pragmatic Play has ever done before thematically, but the scatter pay mechanic certainly gave us Gates of Olympus vibes.

You know how those games go. They’re like marmite with groups of players that love and hate them in equal measure. However, Monster Superlanch isn’t exactly like aforementioned godly games. It has it a ‘hold & win’ style feature that locks symbols in place, and the multiplier system works differently which makes Monster Superlanche fresh enough for players.

When it comes to potential, Monster Superlanche has the classic pragmatic 5,000x max win figure. It’s certainly not as volatile as many other slots, but if Pragmatic has proved anything in the past, it’s that their wins are achievable.

Overall, Monster Superlanche takes inspiration from previous games, but it brings its own flavour to make things feel new.
