Prometheus Titan of Fire Base Game and Features

Prometheus Titan of Fire is a 5 reel slot with 40 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Coin & Collect Symbols

Gold Coin symbols appear only on reels 2, 3 and 4. Each Coin symbol reveals a random value between 1x and 30x your current bet.

Also in play is the Collect symbol, appearing only on reels 1 and 5. Both the Coin and Collect symbols trigger the Fire Collect and Double Collect Respin features.

Fire Collect Feature

The Fire Collect feature is triggered by landing any Coin symbol and 1 Collect symbol on the reels in the base game at the same time.

Once active, all Coin values present on the reels will be added together and paid out.

Double Collect Respin

Landing 2 Collect symbols during both the base game or Free Spins round will trigger the Double Collect Respin feature.

Once active, reels 1 and 5 will become locked and all Coin symbols present will remain fixed in their current positions. During this time, reels 2, 3 and 4 will begin to Respin, leaving only Blank and Coin symbols to land.

If any additional Coin symbols land, they will also become locked on the reels. After the last Respin, all Coin values present will be added together and paid out twice.

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 12 Free Spins.

During Free Spins, the 3 middle reels will start off with a Hot Spot level of 1 and can reach up to a maximum of Level 5. Each time a Coin symbol lands, a Gold Frame is left behind and the Hot Spot level is increased by +1.

Super Free Spins

Prometheus Titan of Fire: Our Verdict

Prometheus Titan of Fire isn’t quite as action-packed as we hoped it would be, and it’s certainly nowhere near as enthralling as the lore it’s based upon.

The graphics, gameplay and features are well constructed, but it’s let down by its very small win potential. 1,356x is the maximum win in Prometheus Titan of Fire, so it may be unviable given the alternatives out there. Lower volatility slots are fine, and they’ll suit many uninterested by the plethora of slots that are almost unrealistic in some ways, but by and large people want slots with the potential to go off the handle at any given moment.

Unsurprisingly, higher win potential seems to garner more attention, and Prometheus Titan of Fire just doesn’t have the makings of a slot with long-term longevity in an ever-changing market.
