Regal Knights from Push Gaming takes players to the heart of a grand medieval tournament for a good old-fashioned joust, and seemingly with some good old-fashioned Push Gaming Features.
The latest from Push Gaming boasts some classic push mechanics, including Mystery Symbols, active within the base game, Free Spins, and instant prizes. Could Regal Knights be drawing inspiration from the likes of Big Bamboo, or perhaps Razor Shark? Both are immensely popular games, and anything similar to it would be of significant interest straight off the bat.
Base Game & Features
Regal Knights has a standard 5-reel configuration with 6 rows and 50 fixed pay lines. Players can select a bet size between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin and utilise the Push Bet function for an additional cost. Other attributes include an overall RTP of 96.22% and a max win cap of 4,897x your bet.
Wins occur when 2-5 matching symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The 8 High and Low-paying symbols apply payouts between 0.1x and 20x your bet, where applicable. In addition, Wilds substitute for all symbols except Golden and Scatter symbols, as well as any symbols that land during the Golden Feature.
Mystery Stack Symbols
The green Mystery Stack symbol is a revealing symbol that can appear anywhere on the reels, in both the base game and Free Spins mode. Once present, all mystery stacks will either reveal Paytable symbols, Wilds, or Golden symbols. If a Golden symbol is revealed, it will automatically trigger the Golden Feature.

Regal Knights Slot Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game instantly triggers the Free Spins feature, awarding one of the following outcomes:
- 3 Scatters: Awards 8 Free Spins
- 4 Scatters: Awards 8 Free Spins and converts 1 Low-paying symbol into Mystery Stacks
- 5 Scatters: Awards 8 Free Spins and converts 2 Low-paying symbols into Mystery stacks
In this round, each Scatter symbol that lands is collected and stored in the Low-paying symbol Meter. When 4 Scatters are collected, the selected Low-paying symbol will convert into a Mystery Stack for the remainder of spins. Each converted Low-paying symbol awards additional Free Spins and a Multiplier.
The Multiplier is applied to the total win from the Golden Feature. This multiplies the values of Instant Prizes and Collector symbols that land during this feature. The following additional Free Spins and Multipliers are awarded per conversion:

Our Honest Verdict
Regal Knights takes popular features from the likes of Big Bamboo, centring itself around mystery symbols and instant win coins. It can be both underwhelming and extremely exciting, depending on the kind of momentum gained within the bonus round. The standard 3 scatter bonus leaves you with some work to do, as no lower symbols are yet mystery symbols. It’s only once the scatters are collected and the number of mystery symbols and multipliers grows that Regal Knights shows its true potential, and at full swing with a 10x multiplier and mystery symbols everywhere, it can be quite the spectacle.
The coins are what you’re after, though we can’t deny that we waited in anticipation to see if the mystery stacks would turn into a high-paying symbol as well. Unfortunately, Regal Knights doesn’t seem to adopt a feature implemented within Boss Bear, which caused stacks of mystery symbols to turn into coins if they appeared on 3 or more consecutive reels. In fairness, we did see the coins fairly often in our testing, and the addition of a collector symbol is much appreciated.
In truth, Regal Knights is not as appealing in almost any way compared to games like it. Its volatility is low, and the win potential is 4,897x the bet, a fraction of the others. We understand that there’s room and demand for softer games, but Regal Knights just feels like an inferior version of Big Bamboo.
