Blood-thirsty Vampires have invited us to their hometown of Transylvania for a night to remember in Red Tiger’s latest release, Transylvania Night of Blood!

Transylvania is known for many things, but mostly for its myths about Vampires and one in particular, known to many as Count Dracula. Irish writer, Bram Stoker bought the ficitional Character to life in his 1897 novel, Dracula, and since then has become something of a legend across the world.

Bram Stoker got his inspiration for the blood sucking Count Dracula from Transylvania’s history, traditions and superstitions, as well as Vlad the Impaler, the famous Romanian Lord.

Vampires seem to be Red Tiger’s go-to at the moment, with Blood Suckers Megaways on the verge of being released, but here you will see Vampires go head-to-head with Werewolves in the ultimate scratching and biting match.

Transylvania Night of Blood Base Game and Features

Transylvania Night of Blood is a 6 reel slot with 4,096 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols land from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Another feature to be randomly awarded in the base game is the Werewolf Scratch. Once triggered, between 2 and 10 positions across the reels will be awarded a random Ways Multiplier between x2 and x10.

Each symbol will be counted as the number of symbols the Multiplier shows in the ways calculation. Please note that both the Vampire Bite and Werewolf Scratch features cannot trigger at the same time as one another in the base game.

Transylvania Night of Blood: Our Verdict

Red Tiger has a fascination with vampires, don’t they? Transylvania Night of Blood is no Blood Suckers Megaways by a long shot, but it’s graphically sound slot with entertaining features. It’s fairly packed with excitement when the Vampire Bite and Werewolf Scratch trigger off in the Base Game, and both of them are present more often in Free Spins, and they’ll even trigger together in Free Spins for bigger and better wins.

Will Transylvania Night of Blood live on eternally like Vampires? We doubt it. It’s not a game that screams longevity, but it’s certainly worth a spin when you see it in the ‘new slots’ section of your chosen casino.

Blood Suckers Megaways is a much better choice, but there’s differences to experience here despite the common theme, and the potential looks good at 7,439x the bet.

Overall, Transylvania Night of Blood can certainly get the pulse racing at times, but we wouldn’t expect it to win any awards any time soon.
