Base Game & Features
Mad Blast is a functional 6×5 Video Slot featuring a Scatter Pays mechanic and varying bet sizes between £.€0.10 and £.€100 per spin. Wins are evaluated when 8+ matching symbols appear anywhere on the grid, regardless of their position.
This game has 4 High-paying and 5 Low-paying symbols available, each producing payouts between 0.3x and 50x your bet. Winning symbols are removed and replaced with new ones via a Cascading Reels Feature. This enables players to create or enhance additional wins in a single spin.
Other noteworthy information regarding statistics includes an overall RTP of 96.43%, a High Volatility ranking, and a generous max win cap of 10,000x your bet. Non-UK players have access to Autoplay and Speed Boost functions.
Total Multiplier
To the left of the main grid sits a special Multiplier Ladder starting at x1, which can reach a maximum of x2,048. The total multiplier is always present throughout each game round and applies to each winning combination.
For every winning cascade, the Total Multiplier doubles in value. With each new base game spin, the Total Multiplier will reset. In Free Spins, the initial total multiplier is equal to the number of triggering Scatter symbols.
Multiplier Boost Symbols
During each spin, a special Multiplier Boost symbol can land on the grid. This symbol is non-paying and can also appear during the Free Spins round.
Due to the nature of this symbol, the Multiplier Boost symbol will only activate when a winning combination occurs in the same spin. Once active, the multiplier boost symbol will increment the Total Multiplier by 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 steps.
Extra Life
The Extra Life symbol is a non-paying symbol, available in both the base game and Free Spins round. This symbol will only activate on a non-winning spin.
Once active, the Extra Life symbol removes all paytable symbols from the grid, except Scatters, Multiplier Boost, and the most frequent symbol type. If multiple symbols are equally common, only the highest-paying will remain.
Push Bet
Players can choose to activate the Push Bet feature for an additional 2x their current bet. With this function active, your chances of triggering the Free Spins round are naturally higher. The RTP with this mode active drops to 96.29%.

Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding one of the following functions:
- 3 Scatters: Awards 8 Free Spins and a Total Multiplier of x2
- 4 Scatters: Awards 10 Free Spins and a Total Multiplier of x4
- 5 Scatters: Awards 12 Free Spins and a Total Multiplier of x8
In this round, a special Multiplier Strike Feature becomes active. After 3 consecutive winning cascades, the Multiplier Strike Feature will trigger, deleting the last Total Multiplier step from the list.
The deleted Total Multiplier steps will not appear throughout the ongoing Free Spins feature. Please note, that the Multiplier Strike Feature is unable to eliminate the maximum multiplier of x2,048. Lastly, landing a Scatter symbol awards an additional +1 Free Spin.
Our Verdict
When it comes to a new Push Gaming release, we’re rarely, if ever, disappointed with the outcome. Mad Blast keeps the momentum going through its high-quality visuals, inspiring design, and promising features.
When we first heard of Mad Blast, we were half expecting to see another version of Mad Cars, but with robots and mad scientists. First impressions found it to be a unique and pleasing addition to Push Gaming’s portfolio, standing out all on its own.
Some may recognise the Multiplier Ladder to be similar to that of Yggdrasil Gaming’s DoubleMax mechanic. It’s a fair assumption given that each win doubles the Total Multiplier, but we’re certainly not opposed to such a feature.
If you’re lucky enough to see the Multiplier Ladder in full swing, your wins can (potentially) be multiplied by a whopping x2,048. Helping you achieve such a figure are special Multiplier Boost symbols, which boost the multiplier ladder between 1 and 5 steps, however, these appear to be in short supply and do not appear as frequent as you’d like.
Depending on the number of Scatters that trigger Free Spins, the total multiplier will always begin in an enhanced state, but not by much. For the maximum of 5 Scatters, you will only receive a multiplier boost of x8.
In terms of statistics, Mad Blast ticks all the right boxes. For a high volatility slot, the overall RTP of 96.43% and 10,000x max win cap are more than sufficient for this type of game, giving players a balanced and fair experience.
