Our Verdict

Book of Spies Mission X Slot is an interesting concept that brings lots of different mechanics together to create a new experience.

NoLimit City’s xNudge and xWild features can make or break your game in both the Base Game and Free Spins, and the ‘Book of’ style of gameplay never seems to get old, and is a welcome mechanic within the Free Spins round.

Book of Spies Mission X Slot has some great potential, with maximum wins possible of 27,000x. This will be hard to get anywhere near though, with its high volatility rating it can quite often give you a stinker of a bonus, and the bonus itself is a little hard to trigger.

One big complaint is with the special symbol collected in the Bonus. Historically from the ‘Book of’ style of games, you’d only need 2 of one of the high paying symbols to trigger the stacked symbols.

Sadly, you’ll need at least 3 in Book of Spies Mission X Slot, regardless on whether your special symbol is high or low paying. Another feature that can either be good or really bad is the determination of spins based on where the Scatter symbols land.
