Bull in a Rodeo Slot Review 2022

Benny the Bull is back and he’s got himself in quite the situation which has left him with mixed emotions in Play’n GO’s latest release, Bull in a Rodeo!

Benny the Bull’s emotions certainly got the better of him in Bull in a China Shop which ended up in carnage, but will one particular Cowboy be able to tame this emotional Bull once and for all? Probably not. As Benny tries his luck at the Rodeo, prepare for more mess rather than finesse.

The Bull feature is back which can be enjoyed in both the base game and Freedom Spins round, but will it live up to expecations? The Bull feature offers 3 Wild modifiers using the emotions Happy, Proud and Angry which you may already be familiar with in Bull in a China Shop, but has Play’n GO made any exciting changes to this?

Will we see Benny’s happy or proud side, or will things get real ugly real quick? Let’s play on and find out!

The Bull

During the base game, a reel may randomly light up to indicate that the Bull symbol could land, but this doesn’t always mean that it will.

Once a Bull symbol appears it will activate the Wild feature. The Bull symbol will then choose between 3 emotions, Happy, Proud or Angry.

  • Happy Bull – The Happy Bull will charge at the screen and leave behind regular Wilds.
  • Proud Bull – The Proud Bull forms fully Stacked Wilds on certain reel positions.
  • Angry Bull – The Angry Bull will charge at the screen and leave behind Multiplier Wilds.

During Freedom Spins, the Bull symbol is in play and continues to award one of the above Wild features. Once a Bull symbol lands, it will also award 3 additional Rodeo Bull Wilds which will appear in random positions on the reels.

On the final Freedom Spin, there is a chance of retriggering this round.

Bull in a Rodeo: Our Verdict

As expected, Benny the Bull wasn’t best pleased about being in a Rodeo and wreaked havoc once again, but it wasn’t exactly the ‘off the scale’ chaos that we had anticipated. When it comes to sequels to successful first titles, we can’t help but expect bigger and better next time around, but does Bull in a Rodeo do just that?

Aside from the theme and a few extra Rodeo Bull Wilds, Bull in a Rodeo isn’t quite the sequel we had hoped for, but isn’t all bad and is definitely a step in the right direction but we just can’t help but feel it needed a little something extra to top it all off.

In terms of potential, Bull in a Rodeo doesn’t have a lot to offer courtesy of the maximum win capacity which sits at a disappointing 2,000x. If it were down to statistics alone then Bull in a China Shop would win hands down given that it has a slightly higher max win of 5,000x, but for a Medium/High Volatility slot, this is to be expected.

Overall, Bull in a Rodeo isn’t quite the second coming that we were hoping for, but it’s entertaining and dependable nonetheless.
