Beasts of Fire Slot Review 2021

Join the stampede of fiery Buffaloes as they lead they way to big wins in Beasts of Fire from Play’n GO!

Centuries have passed since the great meteor struck down the Great Plains, but this meteor was like nothing we’ve seen before.

Speeding towards Earth, the meteor came to an end after it struck a herd of grazing buffalo, instilling these mighty beasts with a fierce and fiery energy that is out of this world.

From the provider who bought us The Last Sundown, Dr Toonz and Book of Dead, Play’n GO are heating things up in their newest release, Beasts of Fire. Beasts of Fire has an exciting Charging Buffaloes feature, Meteor Respins and Burnin’ Power Free Spins all up for grabs. If this doesn’t light your fire then we’re sure the 25,000x max win will do it!

Have you got what it takes to beat the stampede and embrace their fiery energy as you lead the way to power and fortune? Let’s find out!

Beasts of Fire Base Game and Features

Beasts of Fire is a 5 reel slot with up to 12,348 Ways to win. In order to form a win you will need to connect 3 or more (or 2 or more of the highest paying symbol) from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

The base game in Beasts of Fire has a unique Charging Buffaloes and Meteor Respin feature that is more than enough to keep you going whilst you patiently wait for Free Spins to land.

Charging Buffaloes Feature

The Charging Buffaloes feature can be triggered randomly during any base game spin.

Once activated, the number of Buffalo symbols are increased. This means that the chance of landing a larger winning combination of Buffaloes is a lot higher.

This feature can only be triggered during the base game.

Meteor Respin Feature

Landing a Meteor symbol on reel 3 during any random spin in the base game, triggers the Meteor Respin feature.

Once triggered, the height of all five reels will expand by 1 and the chance of triggering the Charging Buffaloes feature is increased.

The Meteor Respin can be retrigged an additional two times, allowing the reels to expand again, up to a maximum height of 3. Once this happens, no further Meteor symbols can land.

The Free Spins round cannot be triggered during this feature.

Beasts of Fire Meteor Respin Feature

Beasts of Fire: Burnin’ Power Free Spins

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4, triggers the Burnin’ Power Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.

Once Free Spins are awarded, all Buffalo symbols are transformed into Fire Beast symbols.

The Meteor Respin feature can be triggered by landing the Meteor symbol on reel 3, during any random Free Spin.

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 will award an additional +10 Free Spins.

Beasts of Fire Our Verdict

Beasts of Fire is certainly an interesting game, but not so much visually until you get to Free Spins. The North American Buffalo theme is oddly popular, so there’s a good chance that you’ve seen a few few titles with a similar aesthetic already.

Thankfully, Beasts of Fire makes up for its imaginative shortcomings in the gameplay department. We definitely wouldn’t call it Play’n GO’s best title to date, but it certainly has its merits when you take into consideration meateor respins and the main event Burnin’ Power Free Spins.

Potentialwise, Beasts of Fire looks great with maximum win capabilities of 25,000x, but in a way it’s hard envision how Beasts of Fire would pull off such a feat. Some providers put their money where their mouth is with the maximum win caps, but sadly it feels like Play’n GO’s are entirely theoretical.

Overall, Beasts of Fire is a decent offering with respectable gameplay and even better potential, but it doesn’t really stand out to us as a slot with much longevity.
