Clover Fortunes Betting and Symbols

Clover Fortunes has a variety of betting options for players to choose from. For those who prefer a lower stake, the minimum bet available here is £/€0.10 per spin. For those who preger a higher stake, the maximum bet available is £/€50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.

The highest paying regular symbol in Clover Fortunes is the Purple Fairy, followed by the Red, Yellow and Blue Fairies. Lower paying symbols are standard Ace, king, Queen and Jack.

Wilds substitute for all symbols except Scatters and Clover symbols.

Clover Fortunes Base Game and Features

Clover Fortunes is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. In order to form a win, you will need to connect 3 or more (or 2 or more of the highest paying symbol) from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Lucky Spin Feature

Before you start playing, you will have the option to activate the Lucky Spin feature.

Activating this feature will increase your chances of landing Scatters, Clover and Coin symbols.

This particular feature will cost an additional 50% of your current bet.

Fortune Wheel

Each time a Coin symbol lands, it will be collected and stored in the Fortune Wheel meter.  In rare instances, a certain amount of Coins can trigger the Wheel instantly rather than collecting all the required Coin symbols.

Once 500 Coins have been collected, the Fortune Wheel feature is activated.

Once active, the Fortune Wheel can award one of the following Prizes.

• Cash Prizes – An instant Cash Prize of either 20x, 50x, 500x or 5,000x can be awarded randomly.

Clover Respin

During any random spin in the base game, a Clover Respin can be awarded.

A Respin level is randomly chosen between 3 and 7. 

If the required amount of Clover symbols land, all Clover symbols will become Sticky and the remaining symbols will Respin.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Scatters in any position on the reels, awards 10, 12 and 14 Free Spins respectively. If 2 Scatters land on the reels, you will automatically trigger a free Respin in an attempt to land another Scatter symbol.

At the start of the Free Spins round, all Tiers for Clover wins start at Bronze level.

Each time a Clover symbol lands, it may upgrade either one of the Clover win Tiers or award an additional +5 Free Spins.

Bonus Booster

Clover Fortunes: Our Verdict

Clover Fortunes has a special kind of vibe to it, and we’re confident it’s not because of the theme. Clover Fortunes is probably the most exciting Irish themed slot we’ve come across this year, and even though Four Leaf Gaming say it’s a ‘less traditional’ version because of the lack of Leprechauns, it’s still very much an Irish slot in our eyes. The theme may not be riveting, but the Features certainly are.

We can’t help but feel that Four Leaf Gaming is overcompensating with Features because of their particularly common theme, either way we are not complaining. If you’re a huge fan of a Gamble slot, Clover Fortunes will not disappoint. It seems that every corner you turn in Clover Fortunes, there’s a Gamble/Collect feature waiting. We understand the appeal, but the probability of winning the Gamble is probably quite slim.

The Lucky Spin and Fortune Wheel features are not exactly unique nor are they the best we’ve seen, but they certainly lighten up an otherwise dull base game. The Lucky Spin feature is double the cost of Pragmatic Play’s Ante Bet feature, but with it comes more rewards so it’s worth the additional cost in our eyes.

In terms of statistics, Clover Fortunes has a below average RTP of 95.00% but a very impressive maximum win capacity of 24,030x. The maximum win capacity is sufficient enough that you would be able to look past the mediocre RTP.

Overall, if you’re looking for a fun slot that is loaded with features and a little bit of risk, we think Clover Fortunes is the slot for you.
