Colt Strike

During any random spin in the base game, the Colt Strike feature can trigger.

Once active, the number of Colt symbols across the reels will increase, making it more likely to land a big win via the highest-paying symbol.

The Colt Strike feature is only available during the base game.

Rapid Respin

Horseshoe symbols land only on reel 3 during the base game, and once it lands in view it will trigger the Rapid Respin feature.

During the Respin, each of the reel heights will expand by 1, up to 3 symbol positions per reel, awarding up to 12,348 ways to win.

Once the Rapid Respin has been triggered, your chances of activating the Colt Strike feature are higher during this time. The Free Spins round cannot be triggered during this feature.

Colt Lightning: Our Verdict

Colt Lightning looks oddly familiar doesn’t it? Well that’s because it’s not the first time Play’n GO has given animals a superpower.

Beasts of Fire set things in motion with its Charging Buffaloes and Meteor Respin features, and now Colt Lightning has swiftly followed in its footsteps with pretty much identical features.

Colt Lightning and Beasts of Fire not only share similar gameplay, but they also look the same, give or take a few different animals. Did Beasts of Fire leave that much of an impression on us that we would go again? Maybe, maybe not.

With no Bonus Buy option available here, you will need to rely on the Colt Strike and Rapid Respin features to keep you buy whilst you wait for Free Spins to trigger, but is Colt Lightning worth your itme?

Again, Colt Lightning has the exact same statistics as Beasts of Fire, with a generous max win cap of 25,000x and an RTP of 96.24%. Wether Colt Lightning can produce this figure is yet to be seen, but with the right setup we can’t see why it wont.

All in all, if you enjoyed what Beasts of Fire brought to the table then you will love what Colt Lightning has to offer. With both games pretty much identical to the other, the only thing you need to decide is if you want to play with fiery buffaloes or electric horses.
