Dynamite Frenzy Base Game and Features

Dynamite Frenzy is a 5-reel slot with 10 fixed pay lines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbols (or 2 or more of the highest-paying symbol) land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel.

Cash Symbols

Each Cash symbol will land with a random Multiplier value that can only be awarded by the Dwarf symbol. Bronze, Silver, and Gold Cash symbols all offer a unique selection of Multiplier values as follows.

Dwarf Symbol

During gameplay, a special Dwarf symbol can appear across all 5 reels in any position. When a Dwarf symbol lands in view, it will collect all Multiplier values on any present Cash symbols for that spin.

Dynamite Respin

When 1 or more Dwarf symbol is present on the reels, all winning combinations are paid and the Dynamite Respin feature will trigger.

During the Dynamite Respin, up to 14 Dynamite symbols will be added to the reels in random positions. Each Dynamite symbol will explode to reveal either a Cash symbol or Scatter. During Free Spins, each Dynamite symbol will explode to reveal only Cash symbols.

Scatter symbols will only be revealed if there are already 2, 3, or 4 Scatters on the reels. Each Dwarf symbol will then collect all Multiplier values on any present Cash symbols, add them together, and award the total amount.

If at the end of the Dynamite Respin feature 3 or more Scatters are in view, the Free Spins round will trigger.

Dynamite Frenzy Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters across the reels triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 6, 8, and 10 Free Spins respectively.

During Free Spins, Dwarf symbols will appear more often which in turn increases the frequency of the Dynamite Respin feature. Landing a Scatter during this time will award an additional +1 Free Spin per Scatter.

Dynamite Frenzy: Our Verdict

Like a Magpie attracted to shiny objects, Dynamite Frenzy draws us in with its bursts of colours and impressive graphics, but did gameplay have the same effect?

Cash symbols are a great way to top up your balance and make for interesting gameplay, but with the Silver and Gold Cash symbols so far and few between, it’s hard to get overly excited about this feature.

Collecting the Cash symbol values relies heavily on the Dwarf symbol landing in view, but when it does you get more than you bargained for.

The Dynamite Respin feature can deliver up to 14 dynamite symbols which transform into Cash symbols or Scatters. More often than not you will get Cash symbols from this feature unless you already have 2, 3, or 4 Scatters on the reels at this time.

Upon entering Free Spins, the Dwarf symbol appears more often, meaning that the Dynamite Respin feature will trigger more frequently. The potential comes from landing more than 1 Dwarf symbol on any one spin and the Dynamite Respin landing the max number of Dynamite symbols.

All in all, Dynamite Frenzy stands out as a rather explosive instalment, which is quite fitting given its title.
