Hola Frutas Base Game and Features

Hola Frutas is a 6×6 Video Slot with a Scatter Pays mechanic. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to land 8 or more of the same symbol type in any non-adjacent position on the grid.

The minimum bet available here is £/€0.10 (£/€0.20 Super Stake) per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€10 (£/€20 Super Stake) per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.

Like many other Cluster/Scatter pay titles, Hola Frutas features Tumbling Reels. Each time a winning combnation is formed, all winning symbols will be removed from the grid and new symbols will drop from above via a Tumble. Once a Tumble occurs, there is a chance that it will form even more winning combinations.

Super Stake

Before you can begin playing, you will be given the choice to activate the Super Stake bet on the right side of the grid.

Choosing to activate the Super Stake bet will Double your current bet but with that comes certain perks. Activating the Super Bet gives you access to the Multiplier and Question Mark features.

Wave Feature

On any random losing spin in the base game, the Wave feature can trigger.

Once this happens, the wave will wash away the bottom 3 rows on the grid which causes a Cascade to occur. The Cascade will then give players another chance to form winning combinations.

Multiplier and Question Mark Symbols

Multiplier and Question Mark symbols will only come into play if the Super Stake bet is active. Both Multiplier and Question Mark symbols can land during any random spin in the base game.

When a Multiplier symbol lands, it will appear with a random Multipblier value of either x2, x3, x4, x5, x6, x8, x10 or x12. When a Question Mark symbol lands, it can reveal a higher Multiplier of either x15, x20, x25, x50 or x100.

If multiple Question Mark and Multiplier symbols land, their multiplier values will add together and be applied to any winning combinations. Both mulitplier and question mark symbols are available in the Free Spins round.

Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols in any position on the reels triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.

Once active, 1 Fruit symbol will be chosen at random to become Sticky on the grid. Each time your chosen fruit symbol appears, it will locked in its position so long as more of the same symbol appear with each Free Spin.

Hola Frutas: Our Verdict

Is it just us or does the Summer seem to bring out the best in providers? Either way, Hola Frutas is a pleasure to play and a very nice addition to Stakelogic’s growing portfolio.

Although Hola Frutas has a somewhat common theme it’s probably one of the best of the bunch so far if you’re looking for something summery, but can’t get away.

Stakelogic has once again found perfect use for their Super Stake Feature by giving it the ability to reveal random multipliers. The Super Stake feature really is diverse, and we’re always excited to see what it does in each and every game.

Hola Frutas may have been inspired in some way by Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza, though it does enough to differentiate itself with Wave Features and Sticky Symbols, which is a refreshing change from what other providers try with blatent remakes.

When it comes to potential, Hola Frutas looks good with a 5,000x maximum cap. This isn’t quite the monster that we’re seeing from other providers, but you could call it achievable and realistic when compared to some of the crazy declarations of others, but with no proof to back it up.

Overall, Hola Frutas is a nice summery slot for those looking for something chill, capable and fun.
