Silverback Multiplier Mountain was the first release to introduce us to the series, and in it we witnessed the power of the mighty gorilla in the depths of the deep jungle. Kodiak Kingdom Theme

For those who aren’t familiar, Kodiak is the main city in Kodiak Island Borough, Alaska USA. Certain animals are native to the area including Kodiak Brown Bears, River Otters and King Crabs. Kodiak Island happens to be the second largest Island in the United States and the 80th largest Island in the world. The word Kodiak means ‘a land mass that is surrounded by water’.

The backdrop in Kodiak Kingdom is truly mesmerizing, icy mountains can be seen in the distance overlooking stunning scenery and a calming stream.

The music playing throughout is not typical of what you hear in most slot games and rather something you would listen to during a massage or to help get you off to sleep, its soothing and theraputic yet suprisingly works well with the theme. Sound effects make the theme a little better, birds can be heard singing in the distance and each time a Kodiak Brown Bear lands it lets off a little growl. The sound effects are definitely more dominant against the hypnotic music, almost drowning it out completely.

The theme of Kodiak Kingdom is something that has been touched upon before in previous slots so its not an entirely innovative one, but although it’s generic we can’t deny the care that must have gone into creating such a visually astounding experience. The Wild Multiplier is a very welcome addition to the game, and its persistent in Free Spins too. Silverback Multiplier Mountain was a great game in our eyes, and it definitely feels as if there’s been some subtle but significant changes to make Kodiak Kingdom even better than its predecessor.

Kodiak Kingdom is a rather simple game too. We’re all very much aware that a horde of slots are beginning to invent and adopt complicated mechanics to stand out from the crowd, and sometimes this just doesn’t sit well for those who may not understand them. If you’re more of a classic player who prefers a more straightforward experience, then Kodiak Kingdom offers just that. It’s not classic in the sense that it’s dull and scarce of features, but it’s certainly not complex.
