Lucky Otter Base Game and Features
Lucky Otter is a 5-reel Video Slot with 243 ways to win active. Winning combinations form on the reels when 3 or more of the same symbol types land from left to right or right to left, starting from the leftmost or rightmost reels.
Lucky Otter can be played for as little as £.€0.20 per spin, up to a maximum bet of £.€1,000 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two. Lucky Otter has a theoretical RTP of 94.65% and a max win cap of 4,416x.
High-paying symbols fall to a variety of coloured Fish, starting with the Pink Fish, followed by the Yellow, Purple, Green, and Blue Fish. Low-paying symbols are Red, Orange, Purple, Green, and Blue smaller symbols.
Each time a win forms on the reels, all winning symbols will be removed and new symbols will drop down from above via a Cascade Feature. This continues until no more wins appear on the reels.
Wild Otters
Above the main reel set is an additional reel set with only Wild Otters present. Wild Otter symbols substitute for all High and Low-paying symbols from the paytable.
When a Cascade occurs and winning symbols are removed, Wild Otter symbols will drop down and fill a number of empty reel positions, potentially forming a new win.
Increasing Multiplier
During gameplay, a Global Win Multiplier starting at x1 is active. Each time a win occurs, the Global Win Multiplier will increase by +x1, up to a maximum of x50. The Global Win Multiplier is available in both the base game and Free Spins round and is applied to all wins that occur.
Helpful Crab Respin
The Helpful Crab symbol can appear on all reels during the base game and Free Spins round. When the Crab symbol lands in view, it will trigger a Crab Respin feature after all wins are complete.
The Crab symbol will remove itself and a number of random symbols from the reels, triggering the Cascade Feature. Each Cascade will contribute to increasing the Global Win Multiplier.
Lucky Otter Free Spins
Landing 3 or more Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins. Each additional Scatter after the 3rd will award an extra +5 Free Spins respectively.
During Free Spins, the Global Win Multiplier will begin at x2, increasing by +x2 each time a Cascade occurs. The Global Win Multiplier does not reset between Free Spins.
Landing 3 or more Scatters during this time will award an additional +10 Free Spins, plus an extra +5 Free Spins for every Scatter after the 3rd.

Lucky Otter: Our Verdict
Lucky Otter may not look much when you first load it up, but deep beneath the surface are a number of interesting features that will definitely float your boat.
To say that Fantasma has a fascination with animals is an understatement. Out of the many games they’ve produced, the majority of them feature an animal of some kind, including Goats, Dinosaurs, and even Llamas. Lucky Otter is another to add to that collection, but what did we really think of the game overall?
The star of the show is the Otter Wilds and how they can enhance or create further wins after a Cascade occurs. Rather than Multipliers being added to these symbols, Fantasma has added a Global Win Multiplier that increases by +x1 after each Cascade. However, during Free Spins, the Global Win Multiplier begins at x2 and increases by +x2 after each Cascade, up to a maximum of x50.
The only disappointing factor is the max win cap that sits at 4,416x. It’s not the best outcome we’ve seen in a Fantasma slot, but it’s not the worst either. Fantasma Games execute their games beautifully, yet they always seem to fall short in potential as of late.
