Black Spell Feature

Whenever a Black Spell symbol lands in the base game, it has a chance of activating once in view. Once active, a Black Spell symbol will randomly expand to cover an area of the reels, up to a maximum size of 3×3.

If 2 or more Black Spell symbols intersect after expansion, their Multipliers will be added together to give the whole covered area a bigger and better Multiplier value.

If multiple, non-merged Black Spell symbols are part of the same win, only the highest Multiplier will be applied.

Mystic Spells: Our Verdict

If you’re intrigued by the darker side of life, Mystic Spells will most definitely jump out at you, but does it stand out for more than its enchanting theme?

Fantasma Games has conjured up something quite dark and mysterious when compared to their other titles, but it doesn’t quite put you on the edge of your seat like Blood & Shadow or True Kult does.

However, Mystic Spells isn’t a bad offering from Fantasma, and it does have an element of flare to it, but it seems overly tame considering its dark theme.

What does catch our attention is the Feature Spin option. Choosing to meddle with this feature will cost you a pretty penny, but it does grant you a guaranteed Black Spell Wild for your trouble. Is that a fair trade? Especially when this feature doesn’t allow Free Spins to trigger when active.
