Looking into the theme of Spooky Vibes Accumul8, Light & Wonder has done a terrific job at including all the things that go bump in the night. Spooky Vibes Accumul8 is a 6×5 Video Slot with Accumul8 ways to win. Winning combinations are formed when 8 or more of the same symbol types land in non-adjacent positions across the grid.

Much to our disappointment, Spooky Vibes Acummul8 doesn’t have any distinguishable features of Multipliers to report on in the base game, unlike Sports Bonanza Accumul8 where you got a taste of the Multipliers in both the base game and Free Spins round.

This may put off certain players who appreciate a feature or two in their slots, but given the success of Summer Vibes Accumul8 and the lack of features there too, we can’t see this being a major issue for the majority of players.

Landing 3, 4 or 5 Pumpkin Scatters in any position across the reels triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10, 15 and 20 Free Spins respectively.

During the Free Spins round, a series of Multipliers in the form of Headstones will come into play. Each time a Multiplier symbol lands, it will remain on the grid until all Cascades are complete. The total Multiplier value(s) eill then be applied to the total win for that spin sequence.

Like the changing seasons, all of Light & Wonder’s ‘Accumul8’ titles including this one have changed along with it. We’ve enjoyed the heatwave in Summer Vibes Accumul8, watched our favourite sports from a glorious stadium in Sports Bonanza Accumul8, and now we’re facing not only the cold weather but also our fears in Spooky Vibes Accumul8.

Many seasonal slots including Christmas titles have made a big impression on us over the years, but the trouble is they all seem to fizzle out once that particular holiday season is over. Will Spooky Vibes Accumul8 be able to remain a popular choice all year round even after Halloween is all said and done?

Although Light & Wonder has adapted their 3rd Accumul8 title to an upcoming seasonal holiday, there’s little improvements that have been made to gameplay. The second Accumul8 title Sports Bonanza was a definite step in the right direction for the series, where Multipliers appeared both in the base game and Free Spins round, but it seems that Spooky Vibes has reverted back to the original where Multipliers can only be enjoyed in Free Spins.

This is of course a minor thing to make note of and it doesn’t necessarily take the shine off Spooky Vibes Accumul8 in any way, but if you’re a player that expects bigger and better things in a brand new installment to a much-loved series, you unfortunately won’t find it here.

What Spooky Vibes Accumul8 does offer however is a thrilling and at times frightening theme which ties in beautifully with gameplay, and for those of you who absolutely adore Halloween, you will certainly appreciate what Light & Wonder has achieved here.

In terms of statistics, Spooky Vibes Accumul8 can deliver wins of up to 20,000x and has an above average RTP of 96.06%. This maximum win figure is identical to that in Sports Bonanza but a little on the lower side to Summer Vibes, which can offer up to 24,000x.

All in all, Spooky Vibes Accumul8 doesn’t offer any more than those before it, but it’s a decent slot if you’re looking for some halloween fun.
