Following the release of Nailed It! Games’ latest title Cosmic Coins, we spoke to Pawel Piotrowski Co-founder of the award-winning company about the slot, the provider’s achievements throughout 2023 and plans for the coming year.
Jamie: You recently released the hit game Cosmic Coins. For those who have yet to try this intergalactic slot, can you tell us more about its base game?
Pawel: Players will be embarking on a thrilling space adventure with our new release, Cosmic Coins. It’s a retro-inspired slot game played across 5×3 reels and 20 paylines. Matching classic symbols like fiery sevens, juicy cherries, and sparkling bars will score exciting wins in the base game. Jamie: Speaking of the bonus round, can you tell us how you enter this and what players should be expecting?
Pawel: To activate the Cosmic Coins bonus, players must land three free spin symbols anywhere on the reels. Upon doing so, they’ll be presented with a spinning wheel split into 10 different options that determine the number of free spins and the accompanying multiplier present in the bonus. The wheel can award up to 30 free spins and a multiplier of up to 3x, amplifying the winning potential.
All line wins during the free spins are multiplied by the chosen multiplier, and players can even retrigger the bonus by landing another three free spin symbols. The number of retriggered spins and the multiplier awarded will remain the same as those won upon entering the bonus, meaning each retrigger can potentially grant another 30 free spins!
Jamie: As we reflect on 2023, it seems only fitting to discuss the year as a whole. What were some of the highlights for Nailed It?
Pawel: Whilst being established for much longer, our very first game launched November 24th 2022 and allowed us to begin 2023 with a bang. We launched eight titles during the year, two of which featured our innovative Supermatch™ mechanic. Supermatch™ transforms the traditional reel and gameboards players may have become used to when playing a slot, and instead presents an incrementally increasing reel set that grows bigger after each successive win.
The feature aligns with the innovative nature that we develop our titles with, and has the gameboard reflect the player’s progress towards the bonus round. Its development and popularity among players was a highlight for the entire team. Additionally, the Supermatch™ mechanic was recognised at the prestigious CasinoBeats Game Developer Awards 2023 and won the Game Innovation Spotlight Award. This is a testament to our commitment to developing the most inventive and engaging titles in the industry and was an amazing highlight.
Jamie: What do you have in store for players throughout 2024?
Pawel: As the new year is set to begin, we have some overarching goals that will drive our growth throughout the year. We will be ramping up the production of our titles to release even more groundbreaking and hopefully award-winning titles in the coming year. We will also be building from some of our recent hits in 2023 to create additional series and franchises outside of the Supermatch™ series, which is incredibly exciting for us.
