After spending Christmas of 2022 in lockup, Santa and Rudolph have been released in time for the festivities in Blueprint Gaming partner Lucksome Games‘ latest release, Saint Nicked 2!
What should have been a celebratory beer or two in the local bar, ended in a drunk Santa and his pal Rudolph behind bars in the original Saint Nicked. After being let out for good behaviour, Santa and Rudolph are back behind the reigns of the sleigh, in what seems to be a drunken state…clearly, they haven’t learned their lesson.
We’re in for quite a ride in Saint Nicked 2, where Santa and his ol’ pal Rudolph find themselves drawn to a Christmas party. With the reel frame set as Santa’s Sleigh and drunk Santa at the reigns, each bump knocks a present off the back, so long as it’s not Santa’s beer that’s been lost!

Saint Nicked 2 is a 6-reel, 4-row Video Slot with up to 4,096 ways to win and multiple betting options between £.€0.10 per spin and £.€10 per spin.
Wins occur when 2-6 identical symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. The highest-paying (Sleigh) symbol produces wins between 0.5x and 5x your bet, while all remaining symbols pay between 0.4x and 2.5 your bet. Wilds appear on reels 2-6, substituting for all symbols except Scatters, Cash, and Collect symbols.
Other statistics include a theoretical RTP of 96%, a High Volatility rating, and a max win cap of 10,000x your bet. There is also an Autoplay and Turbo Mode option available to those outside the UK.
Cash Collect Feature
During gameplay, special Cash symbols can appear on all 6 reels, with a value from a predefined set. When you first enter the game, a Santa Collect symbol is unlocked, appearing only on reel 6 until any further feature upgrades occur.
Landing a Collect symbol on reel 6 at the same time as Cash symbols will trigger the Cash Collect feature. Once this happens, the Collect symbol will expand to fill the entire 6th reel, collecting all Cash symbols currently in view. The total Cash Collect amount is paid out, along with any win ways.
After a Cash Collect win, a new Cash Collect symbol is unlocked and remains active in the base game and Free Spins round from that point onwards. The 4 Cash Collect symbols award the following functions:
- Rudolph Collect: Once unlocked, the Rudolph Collect symbol can appear on reel 1 and works in the same manner as the Santa Collect symbol.
- Lock & Spin: Once active, the Lock & Spin symbol appears on reels 1 and 6. When in view, all Cash symbols will lock in their positions, triggering a Respin. This continues until no new Cash symbols appear on the reels. At the end of Respins, all Cash values are awarded.
- Happy Hour: When the Happy Hour Collect symbol is unlocked, it will boost all Cash symbols by 5x your bet before being collected.
- Thirsty Elf: On any spin where a Santa or Rudolph Collect symbol hits, if a Thirsty Elf symbol is present, it will accumulate the values of all Cash symbols before being collected.

Our Verdict
With Halloween almost over and Christmas drawing closer, it’s no surprise we’re seeing a lot of festive titles crawl out of the woodwork. Over the years, we’ve reviewed many Christmas slots, from Santa’s Stack to Xmas Drop, each portraying Santa as the friendly and generous chap that he is.
What we don’t always see is Santa during his time off, which is where Lucksome Games’ Saint Nicked comes into the fold. First released in 2022, Saint Nicked was the first of its kind to show Santa in a less-flattering light, absolutely trollied, and thrown into the drunk tank.
After missing out on Christmas of 2023, Santa and Rudolph have made it out in time for Christmas this year, however, their time in lockup clearly hasn’t had much of an impact. Saint Nicked 2 shows Santa and Rudolph up to their usual tricks, causing merry mischief with a side of ‘drink-flying’.
The base game in Saint Nicked 2 has strong ties to Blueprint Gaming’s King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas 2, Majestic Fury Megaways, and D10s Maradona. The unlockable Collect symbols deliver a new modifier to the reels, including Respins and Cash Boosts.
As you progress through Collect symbols, they seem to become a lot more difficult to achieve. The good news is that once they are unlocked, they remain that way throughout gameplay, including the Free Spins round. In addition to Cash symbols, the game also facilitates 3 Jackpot Prizes that may also be collected.
In Free Spins, 10 Free Spins are the going rate, regardless of how many Scatters you land. However, the more Scatters you hit, the bigger the payout, awarding 20x, 100x, and 500x your bet for 4, 5, or 6 Scatters.
