When it comes to streaming, we have to set the atmosphere. While you see our streamers on camera frequently, you don’t see them behind the scenes with their setup.
Streamers on any platform often have a dedicated room or corner where they stream with a desk and their background. Video game streamers usually have recogniseable characters, posters, or plushies in the background to set the tone for their viewers.
By doing this, viewers know exactly what to expect. On our Fruity forum, fans know when big things are happening, but they don’t know about how our streamers get into the mood to stream.
Have you ever wondered what songs we’d play to get in the mood for streaming?
Well, here you go anyway! Here are 5 songs we’d have on our Fruity Slots streaming playlist.
1: Money, Money, Money – Abba
A bit of a cheeky one here, but for us to do our best during our streams, we need some monetary motivation. What better way to get into the money mindset than this 1976 hit?
Granted, the song does have a patriarchal theme, with it being about a woman who can’t seem to get ahead by working no matter how hard she tries. For our streaming goals, this song works.
Even for a victory tune when those bonuses give us the result we want, this could be a song we play in our head.
Never on stream for long; we don’t want to get sued for copyright!
2: Waking Up In Vegas – Katy Perry
While the boys may not agree with this pick, this Katy Perry pop hit from 2009 is a perfect song to play before hitting the reels. The Vegas setting of the music video, where Perry wakes up in Vegas with a stranger and hits the jackpot, is quintessential to how playing on the reels sometimes feels: unpredictable, random, and chaotic.
Before streaming, we’d wack this song on to get amped up to play some high-volatile slots, or some Vegas-themed ones, because Vegas is the city of gambling!
3: Darude – Sandstorm
This may be more of an ironic choice, but Darude is a song we hold dear in meme culture and slot streaming. This techno dance hit is a great song to play on stream when we hit a big win, or even to get hyped up before stream.
As our streamers stream for hours, we know they have to keep their energy up, and any Eurodance song is the way to do that.
Additionally, Darude is painfully nostalgic and recogniseable, so we think our community would love to hear this on stream, even if they hate the overplayed nature of the song!
4: Around The World – Daft Punk
Around the World is another dance hit by Daft Punk that takes us back to before I was born. However, the longevity of this song never dies, especially for streaming purposes.
When we are spinning the reels, this song is a literal reflection of how it happens, spinning around. For comedic value, having this song play as you spin the reels, especially during intense games on stream, is hilarious.
It’s also very trippy if you start spinning around as you are watching the spins happen. During autoplay sequences, we’d recommend playing this song and going for a spin.
5: Roll of the Dice – Bruce Springsteen
Although one of Springsteen’s lesser-known singles, Roll of the Dice is an anthem for streaming. In this 1992 song, Bruce Springsteen sings about meeting a girl who makes him raise his stakes (metaphorically), because he feels he’s met his match.
However, he also knows he can’t be trusted “in the house of love,” and although he wants connection, he doesn’t think he can create something long-lasting.
This rock song doesn’t exactly fit the upbeat vibes of a Fruity Slots stream, but it can teach us to throw caution to the wind and sometimes go all in with bets. It doesn’t always pay to be cautious!
