Interview with Bragg

With 2025 now behind us, Bragg Gaming Group enters the new year with a clearer understanding of what resonated with players, where its in-house studios truly hit their stride, and how data, affiliates, and creators helped shape that success. The past twelve months proved to be a defining period for Bragg, marked by strong-performing releases, evolving player behaviour, and a strategic shift toward deeper, more focused growth.

In this Q&A, Aleksandar Dasic, Head of Affiliate Marketing at Bragg Gaming Group, reflects on the standout titles and mechanics that defined 2025, explains how player insights are influencing the roadmap for 2026, and outlines why affiliates and slot streamers remain a critical part of Bragg’s wider ecosystem. From game innovation and market expansion to creator collaboration, Aleksandar offers a timely retrospective on a year that set the foundations for what comes next.

Mark: Looking back at 2025, which Bragg Studios titles performed best, and what do you think made those games stand out in such a competitive market?

While it has been a year of great games and great mechanics, I feel that we’ve really begun to hit our stride over the last few months. For example our Atomic Slot Lab studio recently released our simple, yet innovative “Thunder Blitz” title, a simple, fast play 3×3 ‘hold & spin’ style slot and it has very quickly become our highest deployed and highest performing slot this year. We’ve followed that success up with “Hot Rod Hog” and “Rich Gekko”, both games from the same studio and both enjoying similar success. However, no mention of our most successful games of 2025 would be complete without a mention of our innovative ‘Connect & Collect’ mechanic, with which we released Almighty Pegasus in March, and has proven to be hugely successful.

Mark: Across your in-house studios – Atomic Slot Lab, Indigo Magic, Wild Streak Gaming, Spin Games, and Oryx – were there any particular themes or mechanics that really resonated with players this year?

We’ve tried many things this year, and part of that comes from being a global company, with a strong need to diversify our mechanics and themes to meet the needs of players globally. For example, on many games we include a protagonist, yet with our Thunder Blitz slot, we’ve not done so, and it is performing strongly despite no protagonist being present. One of our most anticipated releases of 2025 is Karen’s Merry Meltdown by Indigo Magic, which will debut Indigo’s new art direction employed for the first time with a new modern and daring style which we hope will make a strong impression with players.

Mark: How has player behaviour evolved throughout 2025, and how has that influenced your content roadmap going into 2026?

2025 has been a year of change for Bragg. In 2021, we shifted our company focus from being a pure game distributor to being a game developer as well, releasing our first titles in 2022. Now three years later, we’ve created a successful, diverse game portfolio, and have crafted long lasting relationships with affiliates. These steps have allowed us access to the invaluable feedback from players, which has in turn given us the insights needed to shape the direction of our studios. Pair this with the information we have from our platform and technology, and we can tailor our projects to be as UI friendly as possible with the themes and mechanics that players will love.

Mark: What are the key priorities for Bragg Studios in 2026 in terms of game production, expansion, and platform strategy?

Over the last three years, our strategy was to build as wide as possible, releasing our games across the globe, introducing our brands, but also gaining a deep understanding of where our games and those of our partners work best. In 2026, however, this strategy will change from building wide, to building tall. We have identified areas where our games consistently outperform the market average, and plan to reinforce those areas with a slew of new titles, so watch this space. From a platform perspective, we’re focused on enhancing our platform and tools to greater meet the needs of our operator partners. Our technology is being constantly updated and tweaked, based on the data-driven insights we gain daily. We’re also working to integrate AI further into our processes, with the aim of making them more efficient and potentially game changing in areas like games development and expansion.

Mark: Are there any new markets, regulatory regions, or distribution partnerships you expect to play a major role in Bragg’s growth next year?

As a business, Bragg is focused on growing our existing presence in markets like the US, the Latam region, and Canada while at the same time looking for expansion opportunities in those markets which are newly regulated, or those who are transitioning from a monopoly style to open licensing. These include markets like Finland, France and Poland, where politicians and regulators are currently moving enabling legislation forward.

Mark: Can you share any insight into the types of games or mechanics Bragg is planning to push more heavily in 2026? Are we expecting innovation, refinement of proven formulas, or a balance of both?

Right now, Bragg is focused on two major mechanics in 2026. The first one is a new ‘bolt-on’ jackpot called Dollars & Dreams, which is expected to release in early 2026. We’re planning to release three initial titles across our regulated market portfolio, rising to five titles in the U.S. Dollars & Dreams is a unique new side game which can activate on a losing spin, giving players a second chance to win up to 4000x! The second series of titles we’re working on are football related and focused on the upcoming FIFA World Cup in the U.S, Canada and Mexico in 2026, with three initial titles planned for release.

Mark: How important is player data and performance analytics in shaping Bragg’s content strategy for the coming year?

Player data is massively important to our content strategy, and it’s one of the key metrics we use for game development. Having a large amount of gameplay and player data, as well as a newly-formed AI department allows us to store, analyze and learn from key trends and influences in our game development process. Over the next two years, we’re going to continue to use data-driven insights to create the sort of game portfolio that our operator partners and more importantly the players are looking for.

Mark: From your perspective as Head of Affiliate Marketing, what is the value of working with gaming affiliates and slot streamers like Fruity Slots?

From my perspective, the value of working with affiliates and slot streamers goes far beyond simple distribution or reach. Affiliates and creators like Fruity Slots provide something that is incredibly difficult to replicate through traditional channels, namely authentic exposure and real-time player feedback. Their audiences trust them, engage with them, and actively follow their recommendations, which allows our games to be showcased in an organic and credible way. For us, affiliates are not just traffic partners; they are an extension of our product validation process and an important bridge between our studios and the end player.

Mark: In what ways do affiliates and streamers help amplify the success of Bragg game launches, and how does this complement your wider marketing and distribution strategy?

Affiliates and streamers play an important role in the overall success of our game launches, but very much as part of a broader, multi-channel strategy. They contribute to early visibility, help showcase gameplay and mechanics in a real-world environment, and support awareness at key stages of a title’s release. From a strategic standpoint, affiliate and streamer activity complements our wider marketing and distribution efforts by operating alongside platform distribution, operator relationships, and regional marketing initiatives. This approach allows us to reach players through different touchpoints and formats, while also gathering additional performance and engagement signals that support informed decision-making across markets.

Mark: Looking ahead, how do you envision Bragg Studios strengthening its collaborations with affiliates and creators in 2026? Are there new initiatives or formats you’re considering?

Looking ahead to 2026, our focus is on building deeper, more strategic collaborations with affiliates and creators rather than simply increasing volume. We want to involve key partners earlier in the lifecycle of a game, from soft launches and early access previews to more tailored content formats around specific mechanics or regional releases. We’re also exploring more structured initiatives around exclusive campaigns, mechanic-focused showcases, and closer data sharing to ensure mutual growth. As we continue shifting from a “build wide” to a “build tall” strategy, affiliates and creators will play an increasingly important role in helping us strengthen performance in our core markets and deliver games that truly align with player expectations.
