Back in November 2024, BC. Game shut its doors to the UK due to license and regulatory issues, but recent rumours have suggested the crypto casino may be making its European comeback.
Reports have surfaced saying that the casino’s parent company, named Small House BV, has been removed from the Curaçao Gaming Authority’s (CGA) list of cancelled licenses. Last year, BC. Game withdrew from Curaçao, calling their licensing body “increasingly hostile” in a statement.
The crypto casino has made moves to try to regain its license in the region, and sources have reported that the bankruptcy order will be reversed.
With that being said, nothing has confirmed the return of the casino to European waters yet. However, it seems there is some evidence to suggest it could return, so here is what we know.
Is This True?
In short, no. Gambling Authority reports that BC.GAME and its parent company are still under the Revoked section of the CGA’s Enforcement Register, meaning their licenses are still banned. The outlet speculates this was an error on the CGA’s part, which could be possible, given some changes that have been made to the Enforcement Register.
In the UK, the operator has remained out of business since then, which seems to indicate the CGA is upholding the license being withheld. The sponsorship from Premier League football team Leicester City raised questions about the ethical element of white label sponsorships in online casinos and whether they really belong there.
Could BC. GAME Ever Return To The UK?
Yes, BC. Game could potentially return to the UK market. While the casino is inaccessible to UK residents, it is still in operation in other countries.
Therefore, since the casino is still in operation, it could return to the UK, provided the United Kingdom Gambling Commission reinstates its license. However, the casino would need to meet lots of conditions to return, such as local regulations. Additionally, since the company did allegedly file for bankruptcy, as declared by a court ruling in Curaçao, they may need to reshape their business model in order to return.
The UK has already had similar issues with gambling operators such as Stake.com, which gave up its gambling license in February 2025 over questionable affiliates within the company. Therefore, it seems unlikely in the near future that BC. GAME will return to the UK market.
