Our first impressions of 3 Buzzing Wilds weren’t great, but we know you should never judge a book by its cover. 3 Buzzing Wilds is a colourful slot with an appealing animated backdrop and adorable bug symbols, but it doesn’t quite draw you in at first.

Things take a surprising turn during gameplay, where up to 3 Special Wilds can trigger at random in the base game. All 3 Special Wilds jazz up the base game in their own way, giving you a taste of what’s yet to come in the Free Spins round.

All 3 Special Wilds keep your balance topped up at the same time as keeping your attention where it needs to be. This feature only improves during Free Spins, where all Wild symbols, regardless of which Free Spins round you choose, become Sticky for the entire round.

The Random Wilds round is a little reminiscent of The Dog House Megaways‘ Raining Wilds round, but not entirely the same. Each of the 3 options offers a different amount of Free Spins, and it’s clear which one is the highest in Volatility just from this.

Pragmatic Play has chosen to stick with their safety net of 5,000x in terms of max win capabilities. Some may have hoped for more, but we feel that this is sufficient enough for the average player.

All in all, 3 Buzzing Wilds doesn’t shine quite as bright as Sticky Bees, but it’s not a bad offering from a Provider that has already given us so much.
