Cluster Tumble Theme

The Cluster Tumble theme shows an ancient and forgotten Nepalese temple in the backdrop, but there isn’t really too much else. The two columns beside the reels and the statues upon them are certainly more interesting than anything going on in the background, but overall the real stand-out part of the design is the music.

The music is a wonderous theme, and almost hopeful in a way. The music here is certainly befitting of a daring and determined explorer like the one seen here.

The overall theme for Cluster Tumble is well done for sure, but it’s not a breathtaking aspect of this new slot. Perhaphs the gameplay will captivate us more?

Cluster Tumble Betting and Symbols

Cluster Tumble has a selection of betting options for players to choose from. For those who prefer a lower stake, the minimum bet available is £0.10 per spin. For those who prefer a higher stake, the maximum bet available is £50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.

The highest paying regular symbol in Cluster Tumble is the Red Dragon, followed by the Green Beetle and the Blue Man. Lower paying symbols fall to the Red, Green and Blue Gems.

Cluster Tumble Base Game and Features

Cluster Tumble is an 8×8 Video Slot with a Cluster pays mechanic. In order to form a win, you’ll need at least 4 of the same symbols to connect horizontally or vertically.

Each time a winning combination is formed, the winning symbols will disappear from the grid and new symbols will cascade in their place, filling the empty gaps and potentially forming more winning combinations. If winning symbols are adjacent to Stone Blocks, these too will be removed.

Alot can be said about the fantastic graphics and theme in Cluster Tumble but what does the base game have to offer us? Thankfully Relax Gaming has included some really impressive Power Up Blocks that keep the base game interesting.

Special Power Up Blocks

Certain blocks on the grid contain special Features which can be activated when an adjacent win is formed.

• Wild  – The wild symbol substitutes for all regular symbols.
• Lightning Win –  The lightning block will be replaced by a regular symbol. During the next cascade, all regular symbols that are the same kind as the target symbol (as well as wild symbols) form a win, regardless of where on the grid they are placed.
• Fire Transform – The fire transform block is replaced by a regular symbol. In the next cascade, 1-2 symbol kinds get transformed into the same symbol as the target symbol.

The special powerups certainly adds to the ‘fun factor’ of Cluster Tumble in ways that previous slots before it didn’t. In older slots like Temple Tumble Megaways, you had to rely purely on a chain reaction of winning symbols to get the party started, but here we’ve got a fair few new features to keep us entertained, and to keep the balance healthy too.

Cluster Tumble Free Spins

There are two ways in which you can trigger Free Spins in Cluster Tumble, either by landing 3 Scatters or removing all the stone blocks in the grid.

Once you have triggered the bonus round, you will automatically be awarded 5 Free Spins. You will be given the choice between two bonuses, Regular Free Spins or Volatile Free Spins.

If you manage to clear the entire grid you will gain an additional 3 Free Spins and the Multiplier will increase by +3. If you’re a huge fan of Relax Gaming’s Tumble series then you’re going to love Cluster Tumble!

There really isnt much to pick at in terms of faults. Cluster Tumble really does live up to its name by awarding us more than its fair share of consecutive wins and cascading tumbles.

Like other Tumble games, there is still the agonizing suspense of trying to clear that last remaining block from the far corner, but that’s what we love about these types of games, they have us gripped from start to finish. Luckily for us relying on that last block to clear isnt the only way to trigger those glorious Free Spins, so we can breathe easy knowing Relax Gaming has saved our sanity.

The Power Up Blocks is something we haven’t yet seen in the Tumble series, which makes Cluster Tumble all the more unique and appealing to players. The RTP for Cluster Tumble is pretty good, sitting at 96.40% and the max win capacity of 20,000x is definitely something to shout about!

Overall, Cluster Tumble is a fine addition to a popular series with the potential to pay higher than any of those before it. The theme and idea for this one might not be as interesting as some of the others, but the gameplay sure is.
