The title Elemental Gems Megaways may or may not be particularly helpful when pin-pointing the theme here. Once you open up the slot though, you soon catch on to it’s Asian inspired theme. The music playing throughout is quite relaxing and tame and definitely has an Asian style tune to it. The sound effects are great and work nicely with the theme.

We hate to say it, but Elemental Gems Megaways is a bland, basic and really quite boring offering from Pragmatic Play in our opinion. The lack of Free Spins or any kind of Bonus round may just be enough to put players off. With Elemental Gems Megways, what you see is literally what you get, so if you’re in the market for a new slot that’s full of excitement and bursting with potential, we suggest looking elsewhere.

The Multiplier reel does offer a fraction of excitement, especially if you land the x100 Multiplier with the Highest paying symbol, but let’s be honest it’s just not enough. Elemental Gems uses Big Time Gaming’s Megaways mechanic, but we aren’t sure you could class it as a Megaways slot, considering the maximum ways to win is 512 and the game is played on 3 reels. We feel that the giant symbols look more like ‘Gigablox’ symbols than Megaways, and therefor the title should have been Elemental Gems Gigablox instead.

There are no confusing features or strange looking symbols to get your head around in Elemental Gems Megaways, which may actually be a plus for players who prefer a simple and uncomplicated gameplay.

Statistically, Elemental Gems Megaways has an above average RTP of 96.51% but a maximum win capacity of 5,000x, which is very typical of Pragmatic Play.

Overall, we don’t envision much success for Elemental Gems Megaways. We could be wrong, but from what we’ve seen it doesn’t have many attractive qualities.
