Extra Bet

Before you can begin spinning, you will be given the option to activate the Extra Bet feature. Choosing to activate this feature will increase your current bet by 20%. Once active, your chances of triggering the Free Spins round are naturally higher. (RTP 96.02%)

Full MoonWilds

Full Moon Wilds appear on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, substituting for all other symbols except Scatters. Once in view, they will expand to fill the entire reel they are on. This can occur in both the base game and Free Spins round.

Full Moon Fever Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters on the reels in the base game triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 12 Free Spins and a payout of 2x, 5x, 10x, and 100x your bet respectively.

During Free Spins, each Full Moon Wild that lands will expand as per the base game, upgrading the next available High-paying symbol on the meter above the reel set into a Werewolf symbol.

Depending on the number of Full Moon Wilds that land, an additional +1, +3, +5, or +7 Free Spins will be awarded for 1, 2, 3, or 4 Full Moon Wilds that land in any one spin. Alternatively, landing 3 or more Scatters during this time will award an additional +12 Free Spins.

Full Moon Fever: Our Verdict

Full Moon Fever has all the ingredients to make it a Halloween special, but did Gameplay thrill us as much as the theme?

When the Full Moon Wilds spring into action, you almost expect them to equip a random Multiplier, but this is not the case. Maybe we’re too used to seeing Multipliers appear on stacked Wilds thanks to Hacksaw Gaming, but either way, Multipliers on these symbols would make this feature much more compelling.

However, Full Moon Wilds play an important role in the Free Spins round. Each Full Moon Wild that lands will upgrade the next High-paying symbol into a Werewolf symbol, similar to that seen in Thunderkick’s Zap Attack and Pink Elephants.

Although the Full Moon Wild feature and Free Spins round are promising, we can’t imagine how the 50,000x max win cap is achievable, or maybe we’re just missing the point, but we’d love to see Full Moon Fever prove us wrong!
