Gold Digger Megaways Betting and Symbols

Gold Digger Megaways has a variety of betting options for players to choose form. For those who prefer a lower stake, the minimum bet available is £/€0.20 (£/€0.30 Gold Bet) per spin. For those who prefer a higher stake, the maximum bet available here is £/€20 (£/€30 Gold Bet) per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two, there is a bet that works for everyone.

The highest paying regular symbol in Gold Digger Megawways is Gold Diggin’ Gus himself, this is followed by the Mining Cart, Pickaxe and Lantern. Lower paying symbols are standard Ace, King, Queen and Jack.

Gold Digger Megaways Base Game and Features

Gold Digger Megaways is a 6 reel slot with up to 117,649 Ways to win. In order to form a win you will need to connect 3 or more (or 2 or more of the highest paying symbol) from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Gold Digger Megaways features Cascading Reels. This means that each time a winning combination is formed, all winning symbols will be removed from the reels and new symbols will cascade from above, filling all the empty spaces and possibly creating even more winning combinations.

In additon to this, Gold Digger Megaways also has an additional Sliding Reel. If any of the symbols contribute towards a winning combination, these symbols will be removed from the Sliding Reel and the remaining symbols will move to the left, filling all empty spaces.

We’ve seen what Gold Diggin’ Gus can do in the previous Gold Digger and so it’s no suprise that he’s up to his old tricks again, or shall we say new tricks? iSoftBet has bought back the Mining Modifiers feature, but this time it’s much more explosive! More on this below.

Mining Modifiers

During any random spin in the base game, 1 of 4 Mining Modifiers can trigger.

• Max Megaways – Once this feature is active, the maximum Megaways of 117,649 Ways will be awarded for one spin.
• Mystery Blast – The reels will land a random amount of Mystery TNT boxes, that Gus will explode and reveal an instance of one higher or lower-paying symbol.
• Boomer Bonus Add – Gus can summon his trusty companion Boomer at any given time, Boomer will sniff out and unearth an extra Gold Nugget. The Boomer Bonus Add feature will always trigger the Gold Hold & Win Respins.
• Boomer Lose to Win – Gus will again summon Boomer to appear and automatically change any losing spin into a winning one, or trigger the Gold Hold & Win Respins.

Gold Bet

Above the reels on the left, you will come across the Gold Bet feature.

Activating this feature will cost an additional 50% of your current bet.

Once active, you will have an increased chance of triggering the Mining Modifiers and Gold Hold & Win Respins.

In addition to this, the Gold Bet guarantees a minimum of 10,000 Ways on every spin.

Gold Digger Megaways: Gold Hold & Win Respins

Landing 5 or more Golden Nuggets in the base game, triggers the Gold Hold & Win round, awarding 3 Respins.

During the Hold & Win Respins round, landing additional Golden Nuggets or any of the 4 Boosters, will reset the Respins meter to 3. All additional Golden Nuggets will become sticky and will remain in their position until the end of the Respins round. All Booster symbols that land will be removed from the grid, making room for more Golden Nuggets.

The Golden Nugget values available are 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 6x, 8x, 10x, 12x, 15x and 20x.

Jackpot Prizes

Sat above the Sliding Reel in the base game, you may have noticed the Jackpot Prizes. These only come into play when the Gold Hold & Win Respins round is triggered.

These Jackpot Prizes can land at any point in the Hold & Win round. The Jackpot Prizes available are as follows.

• Mini – Awards 25x your current bet.
• Major – Awards 50x your current bet.
• Mega – Awards 100x your current bet.

Landing the Green Boost Modifier during the Hold & Win round, will not only boost your Golden Nugget values, but it will also upgrade any Jackpot Prizes to the next value!

Reel Boosters

During the Gold Hold & Win Respins round, Reel Boosters can land randomly on the grid. There are 4 Boosters available.

• Blue Boost Modifier – Increases reels by adding a new space on the reel based on the number of symbols. Reels can increase until the top of the mine is reached. Only the reel that lands the Blue Boost Modifier can increase.
• Green Boost Modifier – Boosts values of all landed Golden Nuggets and Jackpot Prizes on the reel to the next possible value.
• Red Boost Modifier –  Awards and stores an additional life, which then awards an extra Respin. Up to 3 extra lives can be awarded during this round.
• Purple Boost Modifier –  Boosts the win Multiplier by +1 each time. The awarded Multiplier will be applied to all wins at the end of the Respins round.

Boomers Boost Feature

During Gold Hold & Win Respins, Gus can once again summon his trusty canine, Boomer.

Once this happens, Boomer will run across the bottom of screen and award either extra Gold Nuggets or Reel Boosters.
