Tending to a farm and its animals may not seem like hard work but its definitely not as easy as looking after a goldfish or hamster that’s for sure. That being said, farms are portrayed in a different light in the slots world and can be quite therapeutic.

Oink Farm may not be as serious and sophisticated as Cossacks the Wild Hunt but not everthing has to be that way, sometimes we just need to let our hair down and have fun.

Oink Farm Base Game and Features

Oink Farm is a 5 reel slot with 20 fixed paylines. In order to form a winning combination, you will need to connect 3 or more of the same symbol types from left to right, starting from the left-most reel. The minimum bet available here is £/€0.20 per spin and the maximum bet available is £/€50 per spin, with plenty of other options in between the two.

In terms of symbols, the highest paying regular symbol in Oink Farm is the Fox, followed by the Sheep, Chicken, Cabbage and Carrot. Low-paying symbols are standard, Ace, King, Queen, Jack and Ten. There is also a Wild symbol present which substitutes for all symbols except Scatters and Oink symbols.

The base game is Oink Farm is anything but dull thanks to the Oink Coin Collect and Wild Reel features, along with an ‘eggciting’ Eggs Rush bonus round where 4 impressive Jackpot Prizes are waiting to be won. More on these below!

Oink Coin Collect

During any random spin in the base game, special Coin symbols can appear on the reels with a symbol. Each time a Coin symbol lands, it will fill 1 position on the corresponding Coin Meter above the reel.

Once the Coin Meter is filled with a maximum of 3 Coin symbols, it will automatically award the Wild Reel feature for that particular reel. If you choose to change bet whilst there is a current Coin Meter progression, the Coin Meter will be saved per bet.

Wild Reel

Once a Coin Meter is filled with 3 Coin symbols, the Wild Reel feature will activate for that reel.

Once this happens, a Stacked Wild will drop down covering all symbol positions for that reel and will remain active for 3 Spins.

During Free Spins, the Wild Reels will remain in place until the Free Spins round is complete.

Eggs Rush

Another nice addition to Oink Farm is the Eggs Rush feature. On the left side of the reel set is a list of 4 Jackpot amounts with an egg basket directly above.

Like the Coin symbols, Eggs will land in view on occasion with Chicken symbols which will be added to the Egg Basket. The Eggs Rush feature can be triggered randomly on any base game spin.

Once the Eggs Rush feature is triggered, you will be greeted by a 4×4 Grid of Chickens. Continue to pick Chickens unitl you match 3 Egg symbols which will award one of the following Jackpot Prizes.

• Mini – Awards 15x your current bet.
• Minor – Awards 50x your current bet.

Oink Farm Free Spins

Landing 3 Scatters on reels 2, 3 and 4 triggers the Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.

During the Free Spins round the Oink Coin Collect and Wild Reel features in play and work in a similar fashion to the base game. Once a Wild Reel is active, it will remain fixed on the reel(s) for the duration of Free Spins.

Landing 1 Scatter during Free Spins awards an additional +2 Free Spins.

Oink Farm: Our Verdict

Foxium has to be one of our favourite Games Global partners and it may have something to do with Cossacks the Wild Hunt, among others. Its true that Oink Farm may not be as dark or complex as Coassacks is but it definitely has its moments.

Oink Farm feels a lot like Gods of Seas Triton’s Fortune given that they both share cartoon style graphics but they’re not actually like each other at all. The one thing that we can say with certainty is that Foxium are very good at mixing things up with their themes but their features could do with a little sprucing. Then again, why fix something that isnt broken? Its clear that these Jackpot features work well with players otherwise Providers wouldn’t entertain them.

Looking at statistics, Oink Farm has an above average RTP of 96.23% and a pretty standard maximum win capacity of 5,000x. The maximum win capacity isn’t quite as glorious as The Great Albini 2 or Cossacks but for a Medium Volatility slot, this seems about right.

All in all, Oink Farm isn’t the most rewarding of slots but for those of you looking for a new slot that’s cute and cuddly and a lot of fun then this is the game for you.
