Primal Spirits Base Game and Features

Primal Spirits is a 5 reel slot with 25 fixed paylines. Winning combinations are formed when 3 or more of the same symbol types land from left to right, starting from the left-most reel.

Totem Trance

On the left side of the reel set is a Totem Pole containing 5 potential colours, that move up with every base game spin.

After each winning tumble, if the Totem is either Blue, Green, Purple or Red, any present low-paying symbols of the same colour will be upgraded to their corresponding high-paying symbol.

If the top Totem is Gold in colour, all present low-paying symbols regardless of their colour will transform into their corresponding High paying symbols.

Colour Multiplier

Once a symbol has been transformed into its high-paying symbol, each upgraded symbol across the reels increases its Colour Multiplier by +1.

If a Gold Totem Trance was triggered, all recently transformed symbols will increase all 4 Multiplier values by +1.

Primal Spirits is certainly different by Quickspin’s standards. It’s art style is as strange as it is fascinating, and the creatures within aren’t like anything that we’ve seen in the heartland of Native America before.

Pehaps we’re not as well traveled as we once thought, or perhaps Quickspin were feeling rather spiritual when they thought up the concept. It’s always good to be one with Mother Earth, but is Mother Earth one with slot aficionado’s everywhere?

Primal Spirit’s definitely has something going for it with Base Game features like Totem Trance, and the Colour Multiplier earned within the Base Game brings immense potential to the Free Spins round. It’s certainly a well-constructed slot with plenty of thoughtful features, but should you choose it over other Quickspin slots?

In our opinion, there’s certainly better choices, yet Quickspin are often diverse, so Primal Spirits may well be to the tastes of people looking for something colourful, peaceful, imaginative and fun.
