About Green Jade Games

Green Jade Games is no longer active as a casino provider, with the studio ceasing trading in 2023 after around six years in the industry. Even so, the company left behind a fairly distinctive catalogue during its run, particularly compared to a lot of slot studios that emerged during the same period.

Founded in Malta in 2017, Green Jade Games built its reputation around arcade-style casino content, crash games, and experimental gameplay ideas that pushed slightly outside standard online slot design. The studio was created by former staff from companies including NetEnt and Microgaming, and there was a noticeable “mobile gaming” influence running through much of the portfolio from the start.

The provider’s best-known release was probably Hammer of Fortune, one of the studio’s earlier attempts to blend traditional slot gameplay with more interactive progression systems and arcade-style mechanics. The screen was divided in two, allowing players to see the story progressing on the left and the actual reels on the right. Like several Green Jade releases, it pushed beyond standard reel-spinning through chapter progression, player-triggered features, and more hands-on bonus gameplay.

Their games were available in 15+ languages and built with mobile players in mind using adaptive HTML5 technology. Their operations were fully licensed and regulated by the Malta Gaming Authority and UK Gambling Commission.

Green Jade’s closure in 2023 means the portfolio now exists more as a snapshot of a specific period in online slots; one where a lot of studios were experimenting with multiplayer features, gamification, and hybrid casino gameplay.

Not every idea fully landed, but the provider at least brought something different to the market while it lasted.
