About Spinmatic
Spinmatic’s origins stretch back to 2012 — the company opened its first office in Istanbul, Turkey in 2013, strengthened that base in 2015, then moved its commercial headquarters to Malta in 2017, where it remains to this day.
Headquartered in Naxxar, Malta, Spinmatic is also part of the Softquo Holding group, which also encompasses GoldenRace (virtual sports and betting), Novusbet (sportsbook), and Xpress Tech — a structure that gives the studio distribution advantages most independent developers its size don’t have.
In 2017, Spinmatic obtained its first RNG certificates for Malta, the UK, and Italy, and has since expanded its regulatory footprint further. It currently holds iGaming licences from the Malta Gaming Authority and the UK Gambling Commission, with certification also in Italy and Romania.
The studio also operates SpinHub, a back-office solution for account management, reporting, and promotional settings, which makes it more than just a content supplier in operator relationships.
The portfolio now exceeds 95 original titles, spanning slots, scratchcards, bingo, crash games, and plinko. The Xtreme! product line is one of Spinmatic’s more distinctive features — a dedicated series of games engineered to deliver RTPs of over 99%, positioning them at the very top end of what any studio offers.
The broader catalogue sits mostly around the industry-standard 96% RTP, but several titles run notably higher. The flagship of the range, Sizzling Blaze, is a straightforward retro-themed video slot that launched in 2021 with a 97.47% RTP and has since spawned a whole series including Sizzling Blaze Deluxe, Sizzling Blaze Jackpot, and most recently a Lite version optimised for low-bandwidth markets.
Beyond classic fruit themes, the catalogue shows genuine range. Plata o Plomo — inspired by the world of Pablo Escobar — offers 40 fixed paylines with Moving Wilds and an elaborate bonus game with up to 100,000 coins, and has since received a Hold & Win overhaul.
Other notable titles include the Mexican-themed 3 Amigos Jackpot, the wheel-format Mayanera Return (where the entire slot is shaped like a wheel, a layout described as unprecedented in the industry), and Ed Jones and Book of Bastet Xtreme! for Egyptian adventure fans.
“The Xtreme! 99% RTP line from Spinmatic is a genuinely interesting proposition — a lot of studios talk about player-friendly RTPs, but Spinmatic actually built a dedicated product line around it.” Maya, Content Editor
“Spinmatic has been quietly building something solid for years without making a lot of noise about it. The Sizzling Blaze series performing as well as it clearly has across multiple partnership networks tells you these aren’t just catalogue fillers.” Benny, Fruity Slots Streamer
