Base Game & Features
8K Ultra Gold Ultimate is a highly volatile 6-reel Video Slot with 4,096 ways to win per spin. Wins occur when 2-6 identical symbols land across reels 1-6, starting from the leftmost reel.
The 10 high and low-paying symbols consist of Classic Icons and up to 5 Card Suits (A-10). Winning combinations award payouts between 0.2x and 5x your bet, where applicable.
In addition, Wild symbols, represented by Diamonds, substitute for all symbols (except Scatters) when part of a winning combination.
Money Ways
During gameplay, special Cash Prizes can appear on all reels. When 3 or more land on adjacent reels, from left to right, they will win as per any other symbol win.
When 1 or more Cash Prizes appear on the reels, their respective values can increase prior to being awarded. After a win evaluation, all Cash Prizes involved in the win will be awarded their respective prize.
Collect Scatters
Landing a Collect Scatter on reels 1 or 6 will retrieve the value of all Cash Prizes in view, before awarding their total combined value.
Alternatively, if Cash Prize symbols create a win independently, this will also be paid separately, in addition to their respective values at the time of collection.
Boosting Fortunes
In this game, there are 8 unique Boosting Fortunes available, with each Fortune Prize having a corresponding Fortune Coin. These coins can land alongside any paytable symbol on the reels.
When a Fortune Coin appears, it will increase its corresponding Fortune Prize, without affecting the overall RTP of 94%. When this happens, the Mini, Midi, Big, Super, or Mega Jackpots will increment by 0.1x your bet.
However, for Epic, Ultra, and Ultimate Jackpots, their values are incremented by 0.2x, 0.5x, and 1x your bet, respectively.
Fortune Bonus
When the Fortune Bonus is activated, the reel set switches to a smaller 3×3 grid format, where only Fortune Prizes are available.
During this feature, all 9 positions will spin to reveal 1 of 8 Fortune Prizes. If 3 or more icons match, the corresponding prize is awarded. Please note that between 1 and 3 fortune prizes can be won during a single spin in this feature.
After a fortune prize is awarded, its value is reset to its base value for subsequent spins. Furthermore, fortune prizes can be boosted during Respins or Collect functions, yet the Fortune Bonus cannot be triggered.

8K Ultra Gold Ultimate Slot Free Spins
Landing 3-6 Scatters in the base game instantly triggers the Bonus Choice feature, where you will be met with the following options.
- Collect Spins: Awards between 6 & 25 Free Spins, where only cash prizes and collect symbols are available on the reels.
- Respins: Awards a random number of Silver & Gold multiplier keys in a unique Hold & Win bonus.

Collect Spins
In this round, the only symbols available are Cash Prizes and Collect Scatters. When the round begins, all reel positions are empty, with only Collect Scatters able to appear on reels 1 & 6.
When a new Cash Prize hits, it will be automatically multiplied by the current Win Multiplier (if the round was triggered with 4+ Scatters).
Respins
In this round, the Silver and/or Gold Keys won in the Bonus Choice will be used to unlock 1 or more reels, awarding 3 Respins.
Each reel unlocked with a Silver Key will begin with a Multiplier of x1. Alternatively, each reel unlocked with a Gold Key will begin with a x2 Multiplier. If this round is triggered with 4+ Scatters, the individual reel multipliers are boosted by the Win Multiplier.
Once the round begins, each unlocked reel will spin, and any Cash Prizes that appear will lock into their respective position. Once in view, the cash prize is multiplied by the corresponding reel multiplier.
Landing a Scatter symbol on a locked reel will automatically unlock it for subsequent spins until the end of the feature. When an unlocked reel is entirely filled, its contents will be collected into the topmost position.
When this happens, the Reel Multiplier will increase by +x1. This will boost any subsequent Cash prizes which lock onto the reel from here onwards. All new Cash Prizes to appear will reset the Respins to 3.
Our Honest Verdict
The inclusion of the Money Ways mechanic is a welcome return, previously seen in 4K Ultra Gold and familiar to those who’ve played through the 4 Fantastic Fish series. Collect symbols, add another layer, gather prizes and enable several paths to potential wins. The boost features enhance these prize opportunities further, bringing some additional weight to the fortune prizes on offer.
The Fortune Bonus, where all nine positions spin to reveal potential prizes and three matching symbols award the corresponding amount, will be familiar to many – it doesn’t break new ground, but delivers with consistency. A Bonus Choice feature adds optional risk for those looking to shake up the experience, though players should approach this with a bit of caution.
A 12,000x max win is solid – relatively standard, perhaps a little above average compared to many releases. That said, an RTP of 94% may give more odds-conscious players pause.
Overall, we found 8K Ultra Gold to be feature-packed and quite exciting at times, but not particularly earth-shattering
