Base Game & Features
Area Link Phoenix Firestorm is a standard 5-reel, 3-row Video Slot from AreaVegas Games, offering 20-40 fixed pay lines and varying bet sizes between £.€0.20 and £.€50 per spin. This highly volatile slot includes an overall RTP of 96.50% and an average max win cap of 5,000x your bet.
Wins occur when 3-5 identical symbols land from left to right, starting from reel 1. Paytable symbols consist of Gems as the highest-paying symbols, whilst low-paying symbols fall to 6 card suits (A-9). Depending on the symbol type, payouts vary between 0.1x and 5x your bet. Lastly, Stacked Wilds appear on all reels, substituting for all symbols except Fireballs.
Area Link Feature & Phoenix Firestorm
Above each of the reels sits an individual-coloured Egg. Whenever 1 or more Fireballs (representing Egg colours) appear in view, they are collected and added to their respective Eggs for a chance to trigger the Area Link Feature.
The combination of Fireballs collected when the Area Link Feature triggers will determine which Phoenix Upgrades are awarded:
- Orange Phoenix Upgrade: Reveals a random Multiplier of x2, x3, or x5 each spin. Yellow Fireballs are multiplied once when they first lock into position.
- Magenta Phoenix Upgrade: Triggers a second Area Link feature array, which plays out independently of the other. This feature ends when each array has completed all spins or all positions are filled.
- Red Phoenix Upgrade: Award an instant collection of all new Cash and/or Jackpot Prizes. After completion, a Yellow Fireball is created in its place.
- Blue Phoenix Upgrade: The current value of all present Blue Fireballs is added to a random number of Yellow Fireballs. At the end of this feature, a Yellow Fireball is created in its place.
- Green Phoenix Upgrade: During each spin, all present Green Fireballs will have their values boosted by a random amount.
Once the Area Link feature is active, 3 Respins are awarded. Each Fireball that hits is locked in position throughout the feature, resetting the number of respins to 3. Each Fireball symbol in view will reveal a random Cash or Jackpot Prize, which is added together and awarded at the end of the round. If all grid positions are filled, the Grand Jackpot (5,000x) is instantly awarded. Alternatively, the other Jackpot Prizes available are: Mini (10x), Minor (2x), and Major (100x).

Multiple Phoenix Upgrades
The Area Link Feature is played with all Phoenix Upgrades triggered on a single spin. If certain Upgrades trigger while another is active, it will determine a new outcome depending on which upgrades combine:
- Orange + Magenta: The multiplier determined is used for all new Yellow Fireballs on both arrays.
- Orange + Red: The multiplier will apply to all Yellow Fireballs created after the Red Fireball feature.
- Orange + Blue: The multiplier is applied before the Blue Fireball feature.
- Orange + Green: The prize boost is premultiplied by the determined multiplier.
- Red + Magenta: The red fireball only collects the values within its own array.
- Red + Blue: All blue fireball features occur before any red fireball features.
- Blue + Magenta: The blue fireball only adds to Yellow Fireballs within its own array.
