Aura God Slot Review
What is true enlightenment? Perhaps true enlightenment is in the eye of the beholder; for some, it’s spiritual wisdom, Buddhism, the rejection of materialism, or maybe it’s simply going to Thailand one time and wearing harem pants (get over yourselves).
For us, enlightenment comes from landing the bonus in under 10 spins, the next press express and screens full of wilds. It’s watching fat stacks of mystery symbols line up as if the gods themselves had placed them, before revealing the highest-paying symbol. For Relax Gaming, it’s Aura God, their latest tumble slot, packed full of features that make that ascension to awakening an experience to remember.
It’s not ‘Aura’ in the sense that brain-rot Gen Z might word it, but divinity needs no validation from mere mortals, yet here we are reviewing it anyway, casting judgment upon the gods, or perhaps becoming one, should we be so lucky.
Aura God looks like an interesting release from Relax Gaming. We’ve had plenty in the way of tumble games before, which started humbly with Temple Tumble Megaways, before evolving into more sophisticated releases like Templar Tumble, Cluster Tumble and Ancient Tumble, among others.
Aura God technically may not be a tumble game at all, given the obvious absence of ‘Tumble’ in its name. That said, it still features similar mechanics, which will excite those with a fondness for the series thus far.

Base Game & Features
Aura God is a 6-reel slot with 46,656 ways to win. Matching at least three of any symbol on three or more adjacent reels, starting from the leftmost reel, constitutes a win.
The highest paying symbols are the Gold, Red, Purple, Green and Blue Buddha symbols, and lower paying symbols are A, K, Q, & J. There are Wild Symbols, which substitute for all regular symbols.
At the beginning of every spin, there are up to 24 Stone Blocks present on the reels. Winning symbols cause stone blocks directly to the left, right, above or below the winning symbol to get destroyed.
Remaining symbols drop into play, and new symbols fall into place to fill the gaps, possibly creating additional wins. This feature continues until no winning combinations are present.

Mystery Frames
Each spin starts with up to 8 Mystery Frames, and more frames may be added with each cascade.
If a Mystery Symbol lands on the grid, it will activate the Mystery Reveal Feature after all winning combinations are awarded. All Mystery Frames become Mystery Symbols during this feature, all revealing the same regular symbol or coins that award a prize between 1x – 100x the bet.
Coin Symbols are destroyed after the prize is awarded, but the stone blockers surrounding them are not destroyed.

Free Spins
Destroying all stone blocks in the Base Game awards 6 Free Spins.
Before the round begins, the player must choose between two different modes. In both modes, there are fewer stone blockers and a higher hit rate, giving a higher chance of winning big.
- Persistent Mystery Frames – In this mode, Persistent Mystery Frames stay on the reels between spins, and may grow with each cascade. If Super Free Spins are triggered, then the Mystery Frames are carried over.
- Multiplier Ladder – The multiplier ladder features a progressive multiplier, which may reach up to x100. Progression is triggered by wins, and between free spins. When Super Free Spins are triggered, the ladder progress is carried over.
Destroying all blocks within Free Spins awards 3 additional free spins.

Super Free Spins
Any spin may become Golden. Destroying all blockers during a Golden Spin will award entry into the Super Free Spins mode, which is a combination of both the Persistent Mystery Frames and the Multiplier Ladder.
This may happen during the Base Game or during a regular Free Spins bonus.
As is the case in normal Free Spins, Super Free Spins offer a higher chance of winning thanks to an improved hit rate and fewer stone blockers.

Upgrade Spins
Players may activate an ante bet to upgrade their spins.
- Bonus Hunt – Costs 2x the bet. Fewer blockers and a higher hit rate to boost your chance of triggering Free Spins or Super Free Spins
- Super Bonus Hunt – Costs 6x the bet. Every spin is a Golden Spin. Triggering Free Spins with this mode will guarantee Super Free Spins.
Bonus Buy
Aura God has two bonus buy options available:
- Free Spins – 75x the bet
- Super Free Spins – 400x the bet
The theoretical RTP for both buy feature options is 96.50%
Our Honest Verdict
Aura God is as serenely elegant as we’d expect from something depicting a scene so spiritual, and its gameplay feels quite balanced, and very familiar, if you’re used to The Tumble Series. The Base Game keeps you amply entertained with variable ways, the ability to expand them through clearing blockers and its mystery symbol mechanic, but we also appreciate that the task of clearing all blocks is a frustrating way to trigger Free Spins in the opinion of many.
It’s infuriating when there’s just one symbol left, and Aura God tilted us in a way we didn’t know it could – by dropping coin symbols. Coin symbols don’t destroy blocks around it, and when there’s just one left and it drops the coin feature it feels bittersweet, especially if the coins weren’t exactly huge.
Overall, the base game is quite good, albeit with a few frustrating factors.
Though not officially a member of the Tumble series, Aura God certainly feels like it is. Then again, it feels like other Relax Gaming titles too. The multiplier ladder has been seen in slots like Bill & Coin and Beast Mode, and honestly, it’s an effective fan favourite.
It feels like its giving you a boost up the ladder with multipliers that progress through wins and just between spins, making the multiplier near the end of the bonus excitingly high.
Of course, there is another option here too, the Persistent Mystery Frames. For us, this is just as exciting, especially when the screen is full of frames. It’s no wonder that the two of these features together make for an electrifying Super Bonus round, where both are present simultaneously.
It’s in this mode that you’re most likely to see its 10,000x win cap should you be lucky, but its plenty capable enough even if it’s not maxing out.
It’s no grandiose follow up to the tumble series using its recognisable name and characters, but a nice alternative with excellent potential.
