Fangtastic Freespins Slot Review
Hunt for ghostly wins in Reel Kingdom’s Fangtastic Freespins, where a chilling adventure awaits!
The curse of the full moon is upon us, and for one teenage delinquent it’s become a bit of a monthly issue that leaves him howling on all fours.
Fangtastic Freespins is another terrifying release set to debut in late October. Due to the release date and werewolf theme, Fangtastic Freespins makes for a thrilling Halloween edition. Werewolf slots are not hard to come by, yet they tend to appear around the month of October.
The Wild Class and The Curse of the Werewolf Megaways instantly spring to mind in regards to this genre, but will Fangtastic Freespins be one to remember? Let’s play on and find out!
Base Game & Features
Fangtastic Freespins is a highly volatile 5×3 Video Slot with 10 fixed pay lines. This game is available to play with bet sizes between £.€0.10 per spin and £.€250 per spin.
Wins occur when 2-5 identical symbols land from left to right, starting from the leftmost reel. Card suits (A, K, Q, J, and 10) make up the game’s Low-paying symbols, awarding wins between 0.5x and 10x your bet.
High-paying symbols fall to Bullets, flowers, potions, and swords, producing wins of 200x your bet for a 5-line winning sequence. Wilds appear on all reels, substituting for all symbols except Scatters and Money symbols.
Fangtastic Freespins has a theoretical RTP of 96.51% and a max win cap of 2,100x your bet. Other statistics of note are lower RTP variants of 95.52% and 94.54%.
Money Symbols
Special Money symbols appear on the reels with a value between 2x and 2,000x your bet. Money symbols and their values can only be won during the Free Spins round.
Ante Bet
Pragmatic Play has included an Ante Bet feature for 50% of your current bet. Activating this feature increases your chances of triggering Free Spins.
Bonus Buy
Free Spins can be triggered instantly via the Bonus Buy option for 100x your bet. Once purchased, the reels will award 3, 4, or 5 Scatters randomly.
Free Spins
Landing 3, 4, or 5 Scatters in the base game triggers the Free Spins mode, awarding 10, 15, and 20 Free Spins respectively.
During Free Spins, each Wild symbol will collect the value of Money symbols in view. For each Money symbol collected, 1x your bet is added to the Blood Bank Meter.
For every 6th Wild symbol collected, an additional +8 Free Spins and the total value of the Blood Bank Meter is awarded. Each retrigger increases the Multiplier to x2 and x3 for the first two respectively. After this, the third and final retrigger awards the max win cap of 2,100x, forfeiting all other features.
Randomly, when there are Wilds in view without Money symbols, a special feature can occur which causes Money symbols to appear in random positions.

Our Verdict
When you first load up Fangtastic Freespins, you may easily mistake it for a Pragmatic Play title, we know we did. It wasn’t until we got stuck into Free Spins that we quickly realised it was indeed a Reel Kingdom special.
The Free Spins round is a big tale-tale sign of a Reel Kingdom title and, more importantly, how it ties into the Big Bass series. There are, however, a few noticeable differences to the free spins round, specifically the Retrigger function and Blood Bank Meter.
Each collected Money symbol has its value added to the Blood Bank meter, with the full amount awarded when a retrigger occurs. Retriggers require 6 Wild symbols, rather than 4 in Big Bass titles, in order to bag yourselves additional spins. Retriggering the Free Spins round for a third time will automatically award the max win cap of 2,100x your bet.
Like the majority of Reel Kingdom titles, additional spins seem to accumulate and go on and on, yet there’s not an awful lot of winning taking place. Wild symbols become non-existent after the first retrigger, which causes multiple deadpsins over a prolonged period of time. It’s not overly painful if you begin with a lower number of spins, but if you happen to trigger the maximum amount, accompanied by retriggers, you’re in for a long night.
With very little to go on in the base game, a repetitive Free Spins round, and a mediocre max win cap, you may want to stick to the Big Bass series or try your luck elsewhere.
