Speaker Symbols

During gameplay, when at least 2 Speaker symbols land on different reels, all winning pay lines that connect to them will be recognized, causing the Speakers to activate.

During the Speaker mechanic, all symbols including Wilds, FS Scatters, and the Speakers themselves will flip over, replacing them with a paying symbol. All symbols will be transformed into the same paying symbol.

The Speakers will only trigger if there are Speaker symbols available on at least 2 individual reels. If 2 Speaker symbols land on the same reel, they will fill the vertical gap between them with additional Speaker symbols in order to create more winning pay lines.

In the base game, Speaker symbols can only be replaced with paying symbols. However, if an FS Scatter is replaced, it will still count towards potentially triggering a Free Spins round.

X Symbol

The X symbol will only activate when there are wins on the reels. Once active, the X symbol will reveal a Global Win Multiplier between x2 and x200 at random.

This Multiplier is applied to your total win for that particular spin. If the X symbol is part of a win that is replaced by a Speaker symbol, the X symbol will also be replaced after it has revealed its Multiplier value.

Pump up the Jam! Free Spins

Landing 3 FS Scatters in the base game triggers the Pump up the Jam! Free Spins round, awarding 10 Free Spins.

During this round, the Speaker mechanic also has a chance to replace symbols with Wilds. Landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters during this time will award an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins respectively.

Get your Booty on the Floor! Free Spins

Landing 4 FS Scatters in the base game triggers the Get your Booty on the Floor! Free Spins, awarding 10 Free Spins.

During this round, the value of the Global Win Multiplier has a chance to increase gradually over time. Each time an X symbol lands, it will reveal a Multiplier value that is added to the total Global Win Multiplier.

The Global Win Multiplier will only activate when there is a win formed on the reels, and an X symbol is present at the same time. Once active, the Global Win Multiplier is applied to the total win for that spin. Landing 2 or 3 FS Scatters during this time will award an additional +2 and +4 Free Spins respectively.

Feel the Beat: Our Verdict

Feel the Beat Beatspins by Hacksaw Gaming is a great party and a decent game, not just in its immersive experience but also in its features.

The game’s Speaker and X symbols mechanics are particularly noteworthy. When the Speaker Symbol is activated, they transform symbols across the reels, offering more opportunities for winning combinations. The X symbol adds another layer of excitement, randomly revealing a Global Win Multiplier that can significantly boost winnings. These features, combined with the captivating neon aesthetic and dynamic soundtrack, create an engaging game

The maximum win cap in Feel the Beat is 10,000x. This level of payout is appealing and fairly standard for Hacksaw Gaming, but in line with what players seem to want, and it doesn’t undercut any of their previous titles by making it higher.

The inclusion of two distinct Free Spins rounds – Pump up the Jam! and Get your Booty on the Floor! – adds to the excitement, each with its unique way of increasing winning potentials, either through additional Wilds or a gradually increasing Global Win Multiplier.

How you regard Feel the Beat will depend on your attitude to the rave. Are you the kind of person who prefers a quiet night in? or will you rave until the early hours? It certainly is an experience in our eyes, but the features at play here aren’t a farcry from what Hacksaw has offered up before with staple multiplier features, presented in a slightly different way

Overall, Feel the Beat feels like a party that never stops. It’s very different from Hacksaw in many aspects, and the same in a lot of ways. It’s no disappointment, but perhaps not the best in the Hacksaw catalogue.
